This works as a scarf or shawl. I LOVE the colors and the sequins! I know my sister is going to love it.. only 5 more to make!!!
Yarn spun from a Loop SSB.. this is my first project completed from yarn to FO! This is also my first knitted item! I love it!
Mesh crochet stitch, made from Loop's Belly Dancer batt. (or Belly Dancer Too, can't remember which). Corespun with lots of coccoons and sequins. Fringe is made from plastic "bone" rings with single crochet, then a long chain of different lengths for variety.

Finally finished this scarf a few weeks ago. Took a while cause I kept getting sidetracked with something else. I'm very happy with how it turned out...love the lace pattern and the color. :)
Scarf knitted for me by my friend Liz to go under my green walking coat, it fits so well and is very warm.

I really like the Orange and Teal effect - the lighting from the sign and the window allowed it to happen.
I found this fun scarf while shopping with my hubby downtown on valentine's day. Also got it in about 5 other colors, so FUN! Bigger on my website, in my newborn gallery. Thanks for looking.

Before zooming in, this scarf appears incredibly smooth and shiny - almost iridescent. However, when you focus on only an inch or two, the weave predominates and the silky appearance disappears. Still interesting, but nothing like what I was anticipating!
My Daughter asked for a scarf and chose the yarns.
I have to find the wrapper for the black, but the rest are:
Lion Boucle - Blueberry. I got about 10 skeins of this when it clearanced for a $1 so it's good to use it up!
Lion Brand Fancy Fur - Stormy Sea (do they even make this any longer?)
Sensations Angel Hair - Light Green
The good thing about a huge stash of yarn is that we can always come up with great combos for scarves!
I was looking through some old photos and found this scarf with my grandparent's wedding cake topper wrapped inside of it. They were married in 1946, I am assuming this scarf is from around that time?
Don't ask why. Don't ask how. Don't comment on the tripod just out of shot with pegs and sticky-tape. Don't ask questions about why she's got no top on implying she's warm and yet is wrapped in a scarf.
It just seemed like something different to do you know? ;-)
