Do not try this at home! Seriously, what was I thinking?
Each section has 13 pieces to be lined up and glued, then drilled to accept the cross members.
20 hours later, I finally had the completed scaffolding, but what a kafka-esque journey.
I can see where 3D printing would have been the easier way to go.

I don't often return to finish a sketch, but this one was abruptly interrupted by rain and I did want to capture the way the scaffolding had transformed the church. It wasn't easy trying to convey the density of the scaffolding. I was pleased to be able to include the three-storeyed terrace beyond to convey something of the bulk of the church.
while at the parade the other day.. took some ods and end shots.. this building is beautiful.. even with the scaffolding, I think..
