Merci et à bientôt.
With all the poor weather at the moment, I haven't been getting out as much, but I had to go into Lancaster this week, so I took the opportunity to grab a shot I had been after doing for some time.
It was really wet when I left home but here on Castle Hill the cobbles and paths had dried out more than I had expected. This sloping cobbled lane leads up to the imposing Lancaster Castle. I wanted to shoot from the other direction catching the old "Gillow" House (Home to the legendary furniture manufacturer of Waring and Gillow fame). However, there was some scaffolding on the opposite side of the lane to the house, so I resorted to this shot looking down the hill from the Castle end.
I will return another day, it would look good with a little snow or fog. Another plan!!
I wonder if I have a 'blind spot' too, like the warning on this 'scaffolding truck', as I like to fold with paper ;-)...... what do you think?
A bush spilling out from a suburban garden obscuring my view of the scaffolding surrounding the new house being built across the road.
