Saw this old beauty on our way down to Birch Bay NACO (part of Thousand Trails) just south of Blaine, Washington, last Wednesday, and thought at the time, that I must try to get some pictures of it on the return trip. So, on our way back home, I snapped a bunch of pictures on the fly as we went past, and liked this one the best. (12-07-30-0170)

Saw the world laid out before me.

I saw him coming towards me from a long way off, and then he flew right in front of me, reveling he had a Crawfish in his beak.

Not sure why he or she hadn't just eaten it when they caught it, unless he just wanted to show it off to all the other Egrets that hadn't caught one yet?

----------------------------- JESUS ✝️ SAVES-------------------------------

SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST - ALONE!

12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️

16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the SALVATION of everyone WHO BELIEVES: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel a RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD IS REVEALED, a righteousness that is by FAITH FROM FIRST TO LAST, just as it is written: "THE RIGHTEOUS WILL LIVE BY FAITH." (Romans 1:16-17)

16 KNOW that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH in CHRIST and NOT by observing the law, BECAUSE BY OBSERVING THE LAW NO ONE WILL BE JUSTIFIED. (Galatians 2:16)

1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)

7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)

1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!

So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

This is a close-up photo of a saw work bench, splattered with random paint and scored with rotor saw blades. The bench was located at Fisherman's Wharf.

I saw quite a few butterflies and bees etc, before the weather turned, but this was the only one I managed to photo. Not quite in focus, but you can't win them all!

Maybe view large, and thank you for your favourites. :)

Saw this van on the coast this morning, just after dawn. Camper vans can be so personal to the owner(s), They ooze character. Slapton Sands, Devon, UK.

I had a chat with the guy (Paul) who owns it...he’s had it since 1977, it’s on its 4th engine.

A lifer for me, I was not sure what I saw. It looked like a Cooper's hawk but it was big like a Red-tailed hawk. An amazing bird. This is a juvenile Goshawk.

Une première pour moi depuis 7 ans de photographie d'oiseaux de proie. Je ne savais pas vraiment ce que j'avais en face de moi. Ça ressemble à un épervier mais c'est gros comme une buse. Un oiseau splendide. C'est un juvénile.

A local sculptor has cleverly brought together a piece of Ross nostalgia. This old car has been fitted with buzz-saw wheels (remnants of the now defunct saw milling industry in the Midlands of Tasmania).

Lifer!

……Some friends recently brought us some Jam’s that their daughter had made (which made us smile😊) - not your usual mass produced overly sweet ones, they are gorgeous believe me!! Thank you Christie. So a perfect candidate for Smile on Saturday as soon as I saw the theme - ‘Jam in a Vertical Photo’. For the interested, I used a head torch behind the Jam to back light this iPhone shot, minor tweaks in Lightroom mainly on the reflection. HS😊S, Alan:-)…….

saw this guy pull into a side street a few cars ahead of me... yup, I followed him home, walked up, and asked him to pull back out the garage so I could take a photo, lol! Well, come on, it's only the 4th or 5th Mark IV I've seen in Cleveland!!

I had no choice but to go back out tonight when i saw the beautiful sunset.

Saw this lovely basket, standing outside a shop, meant to invite the clients in, what a beautiful gesture!

They are the 'normal' variety, in their distinct blue colour.

Beware, pretty as they are, they are toxic.

Thank you, M, (*_*)

Saw this beauty hopping around in bush......waited there for it to come out and it did........landed on this branch for few seconds........barely enough to get a decent shot.......

I saw her while I was having lunch today. My back is still giving me discomfort so I was hoping she would land somewhere near where I was. Sure enough, it landed atop the lantana a few feet where I was seated.

Thank you all so much for stopping by and for the kind comments and favs. They are very much appreciated!

Thanks to all who comment or mark as a favorite it really is much appreciated.

We saw this Black-headed grosbeak, a juvenile, at the bird blind at Laguna Atascosa NWR. It is certainly a first for me and several people were very inteested in seeing it. From the pictures in Sibley, there's also a first summer and winter rose-breasted grosbeak that looks very similar. There was lots of other birds vying for some seeds and it seemed content to wait out the flurry. We were treated to four roadrunners and two armadillos on the road in so very productive outing for late in the afternoon

Saw this artist LEWIS FLOYD HENRY doin metal covers of classic hip-hop songs on brick lane. He is INSANELY talented.

Always a pleasure to see one of these cuties. Taken at Reifel

I saw these in the store last year, and thought they were so cute. They have a whole line of food-related stuffed toys. You will probably see more for future themes. Here is another pic: flic.kr/p/2pG9HKo You can see the whole product line here: us.jellycat.com/amuseables/amuseables-food-drink?_gl=1*w7...

Saw this unusual cloud this morning. Kind of looks like a Manatee to me.

This is the adder I photographed yesterday sunning herself in the wall just along from where I saw her yesterday

Saw this fruit and was really fascinated with it. Many thanks to Circulating for telling me the name of this fruit tree - Sterculia chicha! :)

Pleased to come across this Saw-whet Owl today! I have not personally seen one in many years!

Saw this bridge on a map and thought, "that looks tight", 15 minutes of trudging thru knee deep snow later and I arrived to find no Eastbound trains. After searching thru the Revelstoke railfan cam like an absolute loser I found that there were a couple of Eastbounds that should've been here hours ago, luckily there were just late. The first of the bunch led by a nasty looking ACu brings van grain empties train 302 out of Redgrave as the fresh snowfall buries my footprints.

I saw this tombstone at the St Charles Cemetary. It made me think about this civil war soldier, gone and forgotten. He went off to serve and gave his life in the service of his country. Who he was, we don't know. His family probably did not even know what happened to him.

I am a soldier in a different army. I want to serve and I do serve, however imperfectly. I will be unknown to nearly everyone, except for a few around me. And in another 140 years, I will be all forgotten, just like this soldier was. The big difference is that my Father will not forget who I am. I will be unknown to those around here, but my Father knows my name and will always remember me, as I live out eternity with Him.

Second home - second life

Saw several today and they were not camera nor vehicle shy.

I think the young ones have less to fear. This one kept up with us on the roadside as we clicked away.
