This paper craft is an Origami Santa Claus, designed by Beth Johnson. It could be a good Ornament to decorate your Christmas Tree.

These two ladies appear in a group of 5 people in an image also on this site. In both images the lady on the left is wearing the identical outfit complete with her buttonhole. The lady at right is Ethel Longden nee Phillips (1921-1983) who lived in the cottage immediately to the west of Woolley's Yard, Main Street, Winster.
This image is one of a series from the collection of my late brother Ronald (Ron) Greatorex (1939 - 2013) also of Winster. Some of these images have the date of the photograph (Christmas 1977) printed on the back. Many of the original photos have been crudely cropped (probably by scissors) so that some details on the back are missing as is the case with this image. However, I presume that these were also printed in 1977.
The photos were printed by Post a Photo Personalised Postcard & Greeting Card U.K. Patent No. 1424634 by Tudor Processing Limited which information is printed on the back and had the traditional spaces on the back for the message, the stamp and the address and with a logo of Santa Claus carrying a bag laden with gifts.

I would like to wish to all friends and contacts Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I would be back in 2012 with hundreds of interesting pictures...
Santa popped in for a visit at the restaurant we dined at last night. He was in good spirits! The photo is comprised of numerous layers; the background is cinders and smoke from the fire place.

Other images show people attending what may have been a Wedding Party. The man facing the camera to the right of the cigarette and the lady holding the cigarette are both captured in some of these other images. I recognise the lady at right - she was a contemporary of mine, the late Barbara Berry nee Longden (1944-2013) who lived in c1977 in the cottage to the immediate west of Woolley's Yard, Main Street, Winster.
