This is just a brief series that I shot while waiting for my Mom to receive a brain MRI at the new section of Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, MD, this evening.
A disturbing trend revealed itself yet again, however. A security officer approached, and politely interrogated me regarding what I was doing, offering the explanation, 'you know, after all the terrorism...'
Please look at these lame photos. Am I compromising security by grabbing a shot of a chair, along with an empty & tacky coffee cup? What the hell is wrong with America? (I aplogize to Sacred Heart for my mild expletive there!)
My father is in a nursing home, diagnosed with Alzheimer's, my mother just had her third TIA or mini-stroke, and I'm constantly being harrassed for taking digital photos of chairs and empty paper cups in public! Sheesh. (Is that better?!?)
OK. Happy holidays to the good Christians of Sacred Heart, too (because I know for a fact that there are many). 8^)
