The blue hour started. The famouse mirror fountain infront of Place De La Bourse raised the water the last time of the day. The lights of building are switched on. Beautiful clouds in the sky.
And the best spot is taken.
You have to photograph from the exact middle of this place tomake the picture work but this spot is taken by a couple plus a photographer. I try to make it work a few meters next to them but you have to be dead centered to take "the shoot". The water is almost gone after they finish and I can take the spot and get the shoot. Since it was a bit rushed, I forgot to turn down the ISO but it still works. Mission accomplished :)
Taken on a short trip to Lillafüred.
The camera was placed on a Cullmann mini tripod which I had to push down on a slanting surface.

Every morning this is rush hour time. But did the drivers pay attention today to the misty but sunny weather conditions? If they did they for sure enjoyed a beautiful moment. Purmerend, 2016.
Thank you very much for your visits, faves and kind comments.
The mating display of the Western Grebe is among the most complicated of all. During the 'weed dance,' the male and female both raise their chest gently out of the water and then rub each other with water plants in their long bills. Then comes the 'rushing' phase when the birds look at each other before exploding into a sprint across the water's surface. Each grebe stands high, with its wings held back and its cobra-like head and neck rigid. The race ends with the pair diving head first into the water.
Thank you for your wonderful comment and visit. Have a great weekend folks.

Rush hour is a logic puzzle where you set up cars and trucks on a 6x6 grid based on the layout of a card. By moving the vehicles only forward or backward into unoccupied grid spaces, reposition the vehicles on the grid to move the red car off the grid. The cards with different layouts have varying levels of difficulty, from beginner (usually solvable in 16 or fewer moves) to Expert (solvable in 37 or more moves). If you enjoy solving logic puzzles, I’d recommend it.

Grebes perform their stunning walk-on-water rushing courtship ritual. You can kind of tell when they're going to do it ... maybe... fish offerings, alternate bobbing heads, some water-throwing. Then they line up, look at each other and someone whispers "go".
I’ve been dealing with a head cold since the Chiefs parade, so it was nice to be able to get out today and catch a few shots while it was snowing today. This creek is found in Parkville, Missouri and is easy access right off the road. My inital idea was to shoot the park benches in the English Landing Park with the snow falling down all around but this ended up being my favorite of the day. Just a simple straight shot from the bridge overlook. You can almost get this shot from inside your car if you wanted. Lol

The most iconic view in Venice and no apologies for this "cliche" shot. It was taken from the Accedemia Bridge across the Grand Canal . True you have to fight for your Tripod spot on this one, but I think, well worth it. Waiting for a gap in the traffic was a key here so the scene didn't appear too messy. Please view large :)
This picture was taken in the Business District of Lille, at blue hour, wich matches, at this time of the year, with the rush hour.
I was looking for a modern urban scenery with lots of lights, colors and human activity and this spot provided me all I wanted.
