This is a Common Milkweed pod that has ruptured, with its seeds ready to be transported by the wind to hopefully fertile ground. Monarch Butterflies may be happy to find mature milkweed next summer.

El más conocido e imponente de los glaciares de este Parque Nacional es el Glaciar Perito Moreno, ubicado en el extremo sur, frente a la Península de Magallanes.
Este glaciar muestra un sorprendente y curioso fenómeno, en el que su gran masa de hielo avanza continuamente, provocando la acumulación, ruptura y desprendimiento de gigantescos bloques de hielo en su frente de 5 Km. de ancho, situado sobre el Canal de los Témpanos; allí es donde navegan los numerosos fragmentos de hielo del glaciar.
El frente del glaciar sobrepasa los 60 m sobre el agua en su altura máxima, de donde caen continuamente trozos de diversos tamaños, produciendo una estridencia comparable al sonido del trueno.
The most known and imposing glaciers in this National Park is the Perito Moreno Glacier, located in the extreme south, in front of the Magallanes Peninsula.
This glacier shows a surprising and curious phenomenon, in which his great mass of ice is continuously advancing, causing the accumulation, rupture and detachment of giant blocks of ice on its front of 5 Km. wide, located on the Canal de Los Tempanos; there is where sailing the many fragments of ice from the glacier.
The front of the glacier exceeds 60 m above the water at its maximum height, where continually fall pieces of various sizes, producing a stridency comparable to the sound of thunder.

C’était un matin comme aucun autre. C’était le premier. L’horizon se déployait devant nous et l’aube, en nous. L’histoire n’avait pas encore trouvé sa conclusion. Et le mouvement m’habitait, comme il habite tous les vivants de notre monde et toutes les manifestations de l’Univers…

Tout est mouvement, évolution, transformation, destruction et création. Un mouvement lent et linéaire ou, parfois, rapide et imprévisible, de l’ordre de la rupture et de la création. Tout est transitoire, éphémère. À l’échelle humaine du temps, nous ne pouvons qu’en percevoir les conséquences momentanées, les formes que prennent les phénomènes en transition durant ce très court laps de temps que dure la vie humaine. Dans ce monde chatoyant, les certitudes ne valent qu’un temps.
Si l’énigme de la vie nous est cachée, nous savons que c’est en elle - sous toutes ses formes - que réside le merveilleux, ici dans ce monde vivant, la Terre. D’où notre responsabilité en tant qu’humain, de le co-habiter avec respect et égards envers toutes les autres formes de vie qui ont fait ce que nous sommes. * Après quoi et seulement après, nous pourrons rejoindre les étoiles à la recherche d’autres formes de vies.

It was not a morning like any other. It was the first. The horizon unfolded before us and the dawn within us. The story had yet to find its conclusion. And the movement inhabited me, as it inhabits all the living beings of our world and all the manifestations of the Universe…

Everything is movement, evolution, transformation, destruction, and creation. A slow and linear movement or, sometimes, fast and unpredictable, of the order of rupture and creation. Everything is transient, ephemeral. On the human scale of time, we can only perceive the momentary consequences, the forms taken by the phenomena in transition during this very short period of time that human life lasts. In this shimmering world, certainties are only worth a moment.
If the enigma of life is hidden from us, we know that it is in it - in all its forms - that the marvelous resides, here in this living world, the Earth. Hence, our responsibility as humans is to co-inhabit our World with respect and consideration for all the other forms of life that have made us who we are. * After which, and only then, we will be prepared to reach the stars in search of other forms of life.

Nymphaeaceae /ˌnɪmfiːˈeɪsiː/ is a family of flowering plants, commonly called water lilies. They live as rhizomatous aquatic herbs in temperate and tropical climates around the world. The family contains five genera with about 70 known species. Water lilies are rooted in soil in bodies of water, with leaves and flowers floating on or emergent from the surface. The leaves are round, with a radial notch in Nymphaea and Nuphar, but fully circular in Victoria and Euryale.
Water lilies do not have surface leaves during winter, and therefore the gases in the rhizome lacunae access equilibrium with the gases of the sediment water. The leftover of internal pressure is embodied by the constant streams of bubbles that outbreak when rising leaves are ruptured in the spring. - Wikipedia
Gumbo's amazing journey:
During October, 2014, my girlfriend found a beautiful box turtle in the middle of the road, crushed by a car. His shell was in pieces, and with eyes ruptured out of his head. I took him to the Turtle Rehab Clinic at NC State Veterinary School. He miraculously survived surgery, but his eyes couldn’t be saved.
We adopted him, but were told the odds were slim, because blind turtles often lose the will to live, and refuse to eat. It took several months of love and coaxing, but he now eats ravenously from our hands. Gumbo responds to his name and several other words.

La place de la Bourse a symbolisé la ville de Bordeaux à travers le monde pendant des siècles et a joué un rôle majeur dans le développement, le commerce et la réputation de la ville. Les Bordelais comme les visiteurs adorent cette place très élégante. Il a fallu 20 ans de dur labeur au XVIIIe siècle pour construire ce qui est devenu depuis le symbole même de la ville ! La place représente une rupture avec le Bordeaux médiéval entouré de murs depuis des siècles. La ville était enfin libre de se développer !

Both the Bordelais and visitors alike adore this very elegant square. It took 20 years of hard work in the 18th century to build what has since become the city's very symbol! The square represents a break with medieval Bordeaux surrounded by walls for centuries. The city was finally free to grow!

Tant els Bordelais com els visitants adoren aquesta plaça molt elegant. Sometimes You just need to have luck.
My visit on the Bastei Rocks in the elbe sandstone mountains was total sponanious on that evening, without any preparation.
When I stood up there and I saw how far right the sun will set, I was quite sure that the valley will be in dark shadows far before anything interesting will happen at the sky. At this moment it was slightly raining and what You see here, was more gray than anything else. But than, close before the sun would disappear completely, the rain clouds were rupturing, at the perfect position.
That effected two beautiful things. A beam of light, like a giant floodlight, made the woodlands glow for a moment and the sky started to shine in the most beautiful colours. You can't plan things like that, and this is all correct as it is.

Mein Besuch auf der Bastei im Elbsandsteingebirge an diesem Abend war völlig spontan, ohne jegliche Vorbereitung. Als ich dann da oben stand und sah wie weit rechts die Sonne untergehen wird war ich mir fast sicher, dass das Tal völlig im Schatten liegen wird, bevor am Himmel irgend etwas interessantes passiert. Zu diesem Zeitpunk hatte es leicht geregnet und alles was Ihr hier seht war mehr grau als alles andere.
Doch kurz bevor die Sonne abtauchen wollte rissen plotzlich die Regenwolken auf, an genau der richtigen Stelle. Das hatte zwei wundervolle Auswirkungen. Ein Lichttstrahl wie aus einem gigantischen Scheinwerfer brachte für einen Moment die Wälder zum Leuchten und der Himmel begann in den schönsten Farben zu strahlen Sowas lässt sich eben nicht planen, und das ist genau richtig so.

The small bunker in the centre is providing protection from the threat of falling glass if an explosion were to have ruptured the magnificent glass ceiling. It was built during the WWII.

Had there been no Covid-19 virus and had I not ruptured my left Achilles (now on the mend) I would be flying to Vienna today to start a 19 days trip around this lovely country. I plan to do the same in 2021. This was taken on a day out from Salzburg.

Vinca plants are subshrubs or herbaceous, and have slender trailing stems 1–2 m long but not growing more than 20–70 cm above ground; the stems frequently take root where they touch the ground, enabling the plant to spread widely. The leaves are opposite, simple broad laneolate to ovate, 1–9 cm long and 0.5–6 cm broad; they are evergreen in four species, but deciduous in the herbaceous V. herbacea, which dies back to the root system in winter. This is the same Vine snake that caught the Bulbul, and tried frantically to swallow it. You can see its belly was about to rupture !
Rompe Gibão is a town in the city of Coronel João Sá, Bahia, Brazil. With the characteristics of the Brazilian hinterland, this small, but beautiful house in the region, left the landscape much more characteristic, since, with its exposed bricks, it created a differential in the image. The cloudy sky created a soft scene, and the cyan flowers on the left brightened the image. Despite being a dry region, that is, without rain, on this special day, the month was rainy, leaving the plants that used to be dry scrub, green and lush. The name Rompe Gibão is strong, Gibão (leather coat used by cowboys to enter the vegetation of the hinterland with thorns without getting hurt), Rompe = rupture, in other words, crossing the leather coat!

Rompe Gibão é um povoado na cidade de Coronel João Sá, Bahia, Brasil. Com as características do sertão do Brasil, esta pequena, mas linda casa da região, deixou a paisagem muito mais característica, já que, com seus tijolos aparentes, criou um diferencial na imagem. O céu nublado, criou uma cena suave, e as flores ciano a esquerda, de brilho a imagem. Apesar de ser uma região seca, ou seja, sem chuvas, neste dia especial, o mês foi chuvoso, deixando as plantas que antes eram matos secos, em verdes e viçosos. O nome Rompe Gibão é forte, Gibão (casaco de couro usado por vaqueiros para entrarem na vegetação do sertão com espinhos sem se machucarem), Rompe = rompe, ou seja, atravessando o casaco de couro!

Les douze colonnes situées au bout de l'Esplanade de Paris, sont hautes de 12 mètres et réalisées en béton blanc. Cylindriques et creuses, elles sont disposées en quatre groupes de trois de part et d'autre de l'Axe et constituent un point de rupture entre les vastes étendues menant à la Tour Belvédère en pente douce, et la raide déclivité descendant vers l'Oise.
Leur construction débute en 1987 pour s'achever en 1989.
The twelve columns located at the end of the Esplanade de Paris, are 12 meters high and made of white concrete. Cylindrical and hollow, they are arranged in four groups of three on either side of the Axis and constitute a rupture point between the large expanses leading to the gently sloping Belvedere Tower, and the steep descending slope towards the River Oise .
Their construction began in 1987 and ended in 1989.

Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, established in 1916, is a United States National Park located on the island of Hawaii. This site contains two of the most active volcanoes in the world, Mauna Loa, 13,651 ft high (4,170 m) and Kilauea 4,101 ft high (1,250 m), both of which tower over the Pacific Ocean. Volcanic eruptions have created a constantly changing landscape, and the lava flows reveal surprising geological formations.

Rainbow bee-eaters are always watching for flying insects, and can spot a potential meal up to 45 metres away. Once it spots an insect a bee-eater will swoop down from its perch and catch it in its long, slender, black bill and fly back to its perch. Bee-eaters will then knock their prey against their perch to eat it.
Even though rainbow bee-eaters are actually immune to the stings of bees and wasps, upon capturing a bee they will rub the insect's stinger against their perch to remove it, closing their eyes to avoid being squirted with poison from the ruptured poison sac.
