This image just goes to show you shouldn't set down the camera because you've lost your light! We sit at the highest point in Hancock Stadium (home of Illinois State University football) and even with the lights on the field and pushing the shot to 1600 ISO i was shooting at 1/25 of a sec.
The shot is intentional... As stated in previous pics., I would love to have a huge f2.8 lens but without that luxury you have to think of other options. At the time I thought I could get some decent motion blur shots as long as I followed fairly well and there was some space in the shot. Of the 10-15 shots I took this was the only one that met the criteria to be uploaded.
On the stats side Rice (number 2 here) is the birds big running back and ended the day with 106 yards. He probably would have had a ton more but Murray State gave up some huge kickoff returns. I mean when your return game has 205 rushing yards.... The Birds won the game over the Flyers 43-17.
