I took this at Green Gulch Zen Center where farmers grow a large variety of organic greens for meals at the retreat center and for Greens Restaurant in San Francisco.
Arlington Row cottages in Bibury Gloucester England. The picturesque Arlington Row cottages were built in 1380 as a monastic wool store. This was converted into a row of cottages for weavers in the seventeenth century. The cloth produced there was sent to Arlington Mill.

Happy Friday everybody!!!
I wanted to change it up a little and give you something different then what I have been lately. So, today I am showing you a panorama taken shortly after sunrise on the famed Mormon Row in Grand Teton National Park. I knew before I left the hotel parking lot that this location was going to be packed with people because it had been snowing on and off for the last 3 days and there really was no good light for sunrise or sunset. When I walked outside in to the chilly morning air and looked up in to the sky, I could see stars which meant it wasn't snowing, at least not yet anyway. So I scraped off the windshield the best I could and headed for Mormon Row in the dark.
So, we don't have seat warmer's in our car here in NY, but we did in our rental SUV in Wyoming. So why did I say that?? Well, I had accidentally turned my seat warmer on high somehow, and after about 5 minutes in the car on our way to the barns, I felt my butt getting warmer and warmer, It felt like I had to GO... I can remember thinking, oh great, I am going to have to use a outhouse in sub freezing weather when we get to the barns. As I was telling April about my sudden onset, she said "do you have the seat warmers on?" and I said, I don't think so, I didn't turn mine on, and when I checked, I guess I did..... Oh what a relief that was.
So, anyway, we made it in plenty of time to the barns and there was only one guy there with 2 students taking photos of this barn, but by the time the sun came up, I had made friends with about 15 other people. LOL
I've been to this location twice during the previous week in the hope of getting some evening shots. This was taken during the first visit. I really struggled with flare which is why I concentrated on a close-up in this shot .
I think due to the very cold winter we had the lavender seems to be behind compared to last year.

A visit to the Gloucestershire village of Bibury and Grade I listed Arlington Row on Awkward Hill.
Very easy to understand why it is reportedly one of the most photographed locations in the Cotswolds.
Originally built as a wool store in the 14th century, they were converted into weavers' houses some 300 years later.
I understand that the cottages are now occupied by private tenants although I noticed that one cottage appears to be a holiday let.

A bit more searching for rows of things for SSC this week , took this but I have a stronger idea I think .
I put the shot through the flickr editor thinking it might work using " hard stuff " setting , but was not too impressed with the result .
I’m going to give you the front row seat for the sunrise, but if I tell you to duck your head you’re going to have to listen. It may not be the front row seat, but instead, the bow seat. Everyone seems to enjoy the bow of the canoe being in the scene, but I also have captures without the bow for a bit later. Photo taken on Armand Bayou just south of Bay Area Park.
Hard to believe that there's only an 8 minute difference between this photo and the one I posted last week.
