The first Phillips 66 retail outlet dating back to 1928 still stands strong today along the old route 66 in McLean, Texas.
On a Saturday afternoon, my best friend and I took her old Toyota Highlander out for a ride. We had an idea of where we were going but no exact coordinates. We weren't even exactly sure where we were going to end up. We were just going to drive and see if we could find anything interesting. To our surprise, we found this old bridge that belonged to Route 66. We were pleasantly surprised to see it still standing after all this time, even though it's not being used except for those like us who are out for a little adventure. The coordinates on the map are not exact by any means, I just know that we were east of Flagstaff by about 20-30 minutes when we found this bridge.
