The middle of January and we've seen only the briefest dusting of snow, followed by the more frequent sight of rain. That was, until my latest Get Pushed partner, the incredibly talented Edson_Matthew's (seriously - go be stirred by his stream) issued the latest challenge:

It's January and you live in the north. Time to get chilly.

Your challenge: "The heart of winter."

It seems that this challenge ushered in the inevitable with one big blustery morning. So out I went, armed with my new lens, and several layers. (I probably shouldn't admit that this spot was a lot closer and the snowflakes a lot more fun than the term 'challenge' should permit...but there you have it).
