Looking South on Congress Street after the 2011 Republic of Texas (ROT) Rally parade Friday night . This is the main street in downtown Austin, Texas. It runs from the State capital building to the river and it was blocked off for the parade.
The parish church of the small village Rots was a dependency of the abbey Abbaye Saint-Ouen de Rouen, founded by the merovingian nobility in the 7th century, in medieval times.
The nave dates back to the 12th century, while the Gothic transept and the choir are younger. The structure of church, situated in the center of the graveyard, suffered severely by a "reconstruction" of the late 19th century, when large parts were just rebuilt, and the devastation during the Battle of Normandy (1944), when the church was hit by shells.
The sides of the Romanesque is flanked by blind arches (see previous upload). Here are some of these arches. Very similar ones can be found outside.

Diese vielen schönen botanischen Gärten, die es auf der Welt gibt….und dort kann man so toll fotografieren. Vor allem, wenn man Makroaufnahmen liebt – so wie wir. Dann ist ein botanischen Garten, der beste Platz, um seiner Leidenschaft nachgehen zu können :) Hier: Botanischer Garten auf La Reunion.
Der Fokus dieser Aufnahme liegt bei den roten dickfleischigen Blattenden – man erkennt kleinste Härchen. Die Farbkombi aus Violett & Grün harmoniert gut.

Das 7. Barbara-Prammer-Symposium fand dieses Jahr online zum Thema „Geschlechtergerechte Krisenpolitik. Für einen feministischen Aufbruch in der Pandemie“ statt.
Im Fokus stand der Bereich der Sorgearbeit. RednerInnen waren u.a. SPÖ-Vorsitzende und Klubvorsitzende Pamela Rendi-Wagner, die Zweite Nationalratspräsidentin und Präsidentin des Renner-Instituts Doris Bures, SPÖ-Bundesfrauenvorsitzende Gabriele Heinisch-Hosek, die stellvertretende Generalsekretärin des europäischen Gewerkschaftsbundes Esther Lynch und die Soziologin Emma Dowling.
Die Veranstaltung war eine Kooperation der SPÖ-Frauen, des SPÖ-Parlamentsklubs, des Renner-Instituts und der Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS).
