Large school fully roofed with FleeceBack EPDM membrane. A recent study of aged EPDM showed that after 26 years of real world roof exposure, EPDM still retained excellent tensile strength, tear resistance and weathering resistance. EPDM just doesn't get brittle with age.

To maximise the design and aesthetics potential of your building and flat roof, RubberBond roofing system can be used on a range of surfaces for warm and cold roof design, refurbishment or new build construction. And for green roofs or roof gardens/patios.

Forks High School in the Quillayute Valley School District is updating and adding a new building to it's campus. Once the new school is completed, portions of the school that were built in 1963 will be demolished (the portion built in 1925 has already been demolished).

The new 39,500-square-foot building used Hunter Panels' 3.6 Cool Vent product for their roofing. Why Cool Vent? Cool Vent is a ventilated insulation roofing product that is comprised of a bottom layer of polyiso insulation, middle layer of wood spacers with a 1", 1.5" or 2" airspace and a top layer of OSB or plywood. Cool-Vent features cross directional airflow keeping roof temperatures constant, further eliminating hot and cold spots on the roof. Finish roofing system- can be topped off with shingles, shakes, metal or tile over the Hunter Cool-Vent Panels.

Refurbishment to the old Victorian shopping centre, also showing lead upstands and a slate roof. Just goes to demonstrate how well the RubberBond membrane blends in with traditional roofing materials.

Stage 1 of domestic flat roof with sky lights. Picture shows the first section of membrane cut and loose laid prior to being fully bonded to the decking and upstands. The first section is installed using the 1.5m wide roll of RubberBond roofing membrane giving no wastage and minimal cuts to the flat roof.

Tapered InsulFoam is cut from the same high-quality stock as our flat InsulFoam products, and meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM C578, Standard Specification for Rigid, Cellular Polystyrene Thermal Insulation. Tapered panels were used for increasing slope for additional drainage and offers a long-term, stable R-Value and has excellent dimensional stability, compressive strength and water resistant properties.

Project Location: Phoenix, AZ
