July 11-19, 2014. My family came to visit me in Germany and we went on a road trip across Europe. Maybe it would have been cheaper to fly in hindsight haha but then it would only be half an adventure.

Rome is often referred to as the City of Seven Hills due to its geography, and also as the "Eternal City". Rome is generally considered to be one of the cradles of Western civilization and Western Christian culture, and the centre of the Catholic Church.
