7:37PM to 12:19AM, one frame per minute. 1200x real speed.

Nikon D780 with Rokinon 14mm at f/3.5 ISO3200, exposure varied from 1/60s to 10s.

My first attempt at astrophotography, i.e. making images of starry skies and the Milky Way.

These images were made at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon during two evenings in late October, 2016.

The first evening I shot at Yaki Point, the second evening was at Grandview Point.

Taken from Shirley's Bay park in Ottawa, Ontario. A first quarter half-moon significantly washed out the aurora.

Shot with a Nikon D780 and a Rokinon 14mm F/2.8. Wide open at ISO6400 3s.
