I was hoping to capture the comet from this spot, but the fog rolled in soon after I set up.

 

Nikon d780 with 14mm Rokinon at ISO6400 30s f/2.8, bortle 2 area.

While the Camelopardalids were nothing to write home about i did manage to see 5 and photographed 2. The one i wish i got was a huge fireball that lasted for 10 seconds at least! Maybe tonight we'll see some? First time Using the Rokinon 14mm f2.8 as well. I used a 30 sec shutter and i should of used a 25 sec. I have some motion here and i'll know better for next time.

Damn this place s beautiful ! The aquarium here is pretty nice. From saltwater fish to seals this place has a little of everything. Visit if you ever get a chance

After leaving the Myvatn Nature Baths, we found that the aurora had gotten even brighter!!
