Over the past month or so I have started taking photos again, however the direction of my photos has changed a bit. I am no longer regularly taking music-related photos, instead I am focusing on my landscape, cityscape, nature, and promotional work.
I have also finally created an Instagram to use in partnership with this page, those interested can follow me over at @sendtheshutter
What to expect for the future: The majority of the photos posted will be photos I've taken while traveling and/or promotional work I've done for individuals and businesses.
I recently got back from a trip to Japan so there will be a lot more photos of this beautiful country coming!
Here's to new beginnings!

Lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, Maine
A picture from my recent trip to New England. It was a stormy day so I missed the blue sky.

This time of the year, the Milkyway isn't visible for very long, but I decided to get up early today to see if I could capture it. Although it was very faint to the naked eye, I was able to bring out the detail with Lightroom and Photoshop. Rokinon 14mm f2.8

Wanted to post something so went through some images from a recent visit. Decided to do a little black and white with some additional tweaks. This location is slowly being renovated, no work has been done in it for quite a while. It still retains that abandoned flavor despite having been cleared of most of the debris.
On Saturday night September 12th. This night shot was a bit hard due to the glowing red lights they had surrounding the observatory and the domes. Gives off an irritating red glow after the finish shot. Been getting in much needed practice, because I am planning to head to west Texas at Big Bend National and state park to capture the blood moon which is to occur on September 27th (Sunday night) 2015.I'm trying to get my night shots down to a science. Have any suggestions on how to make a better shot I'm up for suggestions and positive criticism . Thanks
Frigid December night, was 14ºF(-10ºC) and 8ºF(-13ºC) with the wind chill. Alternate perspective to a recent post.

Wanted to get in one more visit before this place was fully renovated although it seems the work has been halted for some time. It's changed so much since my last(pre reno) visit years ago. Most of the spaces are pretty much gutted. It still has that abandoned feel but its fading.
