it's another.

Haven't been around much and probably won't be for awhile. Haven't even been taking many personal photos. nothing particularly bad, just busy with life. The girls are still not completely better which sucks for all involved.

Hope to catch back up with flickr soon.

Just taking a break in the day from bunny pancakes and other fun while the baby naps to wish you all a happy easter. May it be filled smiles and children hyped up on waaayyy too much sugar.

Enjoy your cadberry eggs and jelly beans, anything we eat on Easter doesn't count, right?

From back in September and the rocking chair series. The Pina was 10 months and the Ham 3 1/4. Taken in my mom's front yard.

I love this chair. Our latest completion. I dressed some damage on the rockers and remounted some loose joints then oiled and waxed it before Fiona expertly replaced the seat. It is so light and slender, I think it's gorgeous and am sad to see it go.

This is our vintage trailer with our mascot in front. One night camping the raccoons got hold of the rooster and tore him up, feathers everywhere. Thankfully I was able to glue him back together.

My husband and I recently started a little LEGO contest to improve our building skills. Alternately each one of us sets a theme and both of us have to build a corresponding model.

Little child, little child,

Little child, won't you dance with me?

I'm so sad and lonely,

Baby take a chance with me.

I liked this little vignette someone created in front of one of the stores at the Triphammer Mall.

A retired couple sitting on the front porch of their cabin with their dogs having Sunday morning coffee.

Prompt: A highly detailed, ultra-realistic digital fine art of an elderly couple sitting together on the front porch of a wooden cabin. The cabin has weathered painted siding, with wooden posts and beams framing the porch. Laying on the porch is a white west highland terrier and a salt and pepper schnauzer. The woman wears a yellow dress and slippers, smiling warmly as she sits in a rocking chair holding a cup of coffee. The man, wearing a white short-sleeve shirt and brown pants, sits in a rocking chair, holding a white mug. Between them is a small wicker table with a coffee pot and sugar bowl. Potted flowers in full bloom, yellow roses, orange blossoms, and white blooms, surround the porch. In the background, lush green trees and afternoon sunlight create a peaceful countryside atmosphere. Elegant style text "Sunday Morning" - Aspect ratio: square.

Rocking chair in the Rundetaarn, Copenhagen.

This is my entry for the Complete The Room Challenge on Modulars by Kristel.

To finish off the room, I added:

- a white carpet (these are newbie parents...),

- a striped area rug,

- a white crib with mobile,

- wall art,

- a diaper pail (those parents should put a lid on that stink...),

- a dresser/changing table combo with a bottle of baby powder and lotion,

- a rocking chair,

- a plant in the window,

- a toy chest stocked with a space shuttle and UFO,

- a shelf showcasing a much too large for baby toy airplane (you know... overeager parents...),

- and finally a kitty wondering where is her baby.

A old iron rocker in the bone yard

but as opposed to this one I win since she is actually looking at me. HA HA (that was intended to be annoying simpson-esque laugh).

I couldn't get my color right so then I tried a BW, looked too flat and I kept messing with it. Like? If so, i'm screwed. I have no clue what I did.

Yah, i know the watermark is aggressive. But there has been alot of bad photo stealing juju going around flickr lately. I nearly put it right across her forearm.

As Halloween approaches, Stormtrooper Bruce manages to find time to escape to the secret abandoned room he found hidden behind his quarters and test a new recipe he's been wanting to try.

He's planning a scary little "to do" and the last thing he wants is to serve something that doesn't get the two thumbs up approval from the guys. That would be the wrong kind of scary.
