A tradition. These overalls were brought back from Scotland by my Mother-in-law for our little boys; along with another similar pair. That was about 27 years ago. I take photos of each Grandchild in the overalls as a tradition; to honor their heritage and their late Great Grandmother.
Adora Polka Dot Rose 🌹 and Tiny Betsy in vintage rocking chair. This was my son David’s rocking chair when he was little. I added a frame and flowers 🌸 to the picture.
I ran out of brown hands for the rocking chair so I went the lazy route and attached the seat to the fig's rear. The cart is held together with lash knots.
After the first roll through the KMZ FT-2, I had a look at the innards to see what was causing the scratches. I found a few bits of dust on the backing plate, so I cleaned it off and ran another roll through the camera on Monday down in Point Pleasant Beach. Victory! No scratches! That was an easy fix. There's still some unevenness in exposure, but not as pronounced; I used 1/100 and 1/200 instead of 1/400. Seems imperfectly usable to me.
Shot on Plus-X (expired 1989, shot at box speed), developed in HC-110 1:90 for 18 minutes, agitation every three minutes.

A contrived scene, or in situ, who knows? Another choice example from that motherland of great photographs: Iowa. However, I found it at a rather unpromising flea market in eastern North Carolina. You just never know.
I just love homes that have that old fashion look from a time when people used to sit on the porch in the evening and visit with neighbors as they walked down the sidewalks in front of their house. Sidewalks, that's another old fashioned memory!
