I had a friend ask me to come take a few pics of her grandbaby. They had great decorations in the front yard (I brought the chair...good thing too...everything was wet) This is one that I liked. I've been passing this shed on my way to CAYA meetings and have been wanting to capture it and today I carried my a6000 w 50mm.

This was a bracketed shot blended in PS and then converted in Silver EFEX. I then took it to Texture Effects for textures, light leaks, duotoning, border, cracks and scratches etc. Then back to PS for some basic adjustments

My daughter was in the hospital over the weekend with pancreatitis. She is out and getting better. Doesn't matter how old my children get, I still worry....especially when they live far away.
….These two toddler rockers are my wife's and mine from a time long ago, when we started walking and talking. lol

the above image was taken about a year ago at the visitors center in Lynchburg Tn at the Jack Daniels Distillery
Large front porches, such as this one, hold such rich memories. Whether it was the distinct voices of relatives, the creaking of the rocking chair, the jostling of the chain on the porch swing, or the slamming of the screen door. This one section of the house seemed to be one of the most remembered and visited areas of the house.
Notice the size of the oak tree in the background. It's about as wide as the porch swing.
