UTHealth’s Microsurgical Robotics reception, hosted by Jim and Shirley Dannenbaum, was held February 8, 2016, at the Junior League of Houston. The event showcased the work of Dr. Daniel Kim and Dr. Mark Dannenbaum, who are developing the world’s smallest robotic surgical system, designed to operate remotely and transform the most delicate of surgeries.

IU Kokomo hosted a F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Tech Challenge Qualifying Tournament, a state-wide robotics competition for high school robotics teams.. Teams from around Northern Indiana competed and some placed for the state competition in Indianapolis
I'm cheating; this is from the 29th. Also at our science museum is a robot that plays tic-tac-toe. You push buttons to tell it where to place your X's, and it places the O's. The whole thing was pretty massive.
Andy is getting a robot quilt for Christmas, as long as I get it done on time. No spoiling the surprise!

On Saturday 23 November 2013 a new exhibition, ROBOT, opened at Palace Green Library, Durham. We got to discover cyborgs, androids and to track robots through time and space!
This is one of our tele-presence robots that people can use to attend meeting remotely. The remote user can drive thr robot, speak, raise and lower, and see/hear, all vis their web browser.

I have two pin badges I often wear imaginatively named 'Bad Robot' and 'Good Robot'.
