The cases.
My dad gave me this robot a while back. I think it was thrown out years ago where he used to work, and he likes to salvage things.
I'm not engineer-minded enough to figure out/fix the wiring and circuits and such, so Wattman doesn't work. But maybe one day.

Gladstone students and teacher Todd Ablett get a first hand chance to build, control and compete with robots.
Today our robotics class learned about Gyro sensors which helped them with their challenge project which was to make the robot follow an exact path. In the afternoon we learned about variables and made our robots play a game of soccer! By the end of the day we combined what we knew about Gyro Sensors and Variables to do a Steering Wheel project.

I really need to find a better place to take my cupcake photos - somehow this glass table just doesn't make a good backdrop. Lighting sucks, too. But I still love these cupcakes.
More than 50 people, mainly tweens and their families, attended the Robot Rally Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the Marysville Library. Cedarcrest Middle School's Timberbots and Lakewood High School's Full-Metal Robots teams let participants drive their robots. Tweens also learned how to program using LEGO Mindstorm Robots and Ozobots.
