I was inspired by "Medabots" anime series to make this little robot. It would be just a quick build but I kept working on this and changing, improving, attaching, detaching... and I got this.
The main "problem" with this, is the conection of the torso with the base, because it spins with no friction, as you can see in the video below.
The visor was inpired on the ancient medieval knights, because this is a fighting robot, so I thought it makes sense...

I can't remember the magazine that I found this out of, but I think it was some sort of religious magazine from the1980's. I scanned it a couple of years ago and just ran across my file. The artist is Dismukes.
Much of the show (besides the floats with drums, and parades of battles) was made up of dancing girls, dancing robots, girls dancing ON robots, girls riding robots... BEST. SHOW. EVER.
