Finally assembled the Red Robot that Ritchie mailed me. It's a bit fragile. I did an especially bad job on the arms.

SISYPHUS is a robot that learns to crawl using a simple AI algorithm called reinforcement learning. The robot tries random actions at first and learns if it is moving forward or backward. Over time it connects actions that move it forward.
For Our Daily Challenge 3/19/11, "SOOC" (Straight Out of the Camera). I actually took these for 3/22's challenge, "Ugly", but I think I'll use them for "SOOC" instead.
My husband and I honeymooned in Orlando at Disney World and Epcot, where we made these ugly little plastic robots. Five years later and I still have no idea what to do with them, but they're still hanging around...
