Taken in my front garden. this Robin is particularly cheeky and not in the least bit frightened of people
went to Birnie Loch yesterday with Graeme, Sam & my Grandkids, very cold & still lots of snow. The Birds are starving, so much so that ths Swans & Ducks are chasing you(my granddaughter was terrified). wish I had taken more food.

I have found my robin loves the 'sprinkles', which are the smaller suet pellets. The normal sized pellets are just too big for the little birds.
Another lunch break ... so was near Oundle Country Park .... On arrival at the 'kingfisher Hide' the pool was frozen so I didnt expect much... But quite happily this little fella turned up and even came inside the hide as well, where it had a lunch break of its own a nice fat Spider

Went up to Scotland Monday gone and saw this wonderful Robin eating his lunch!
The light was perfect at the time.
