I got this photo in an email. Not mine but so clever! Dance on Rob Ford but don't fall down drunk or 'crack' your head. Toronto mayor never looked so good.......,eh???

welcome to the new toronto, where violent, racist, homophobic drunks who lie about not being convicted criminals can be elected mayor based solely on meaningless catchphrases and the inherent bigotry of 350000+ voters. fittingly, the day started off with garbage all over the streets, a car accident and a miserable rainstorm.

moving on from the moment torontonians elected the worst mayor in living memory (yes, he'll be even worse than mel lastman), it's time to determine how to quickly unseat this malignant sack of garbage. simultaneously, we need to develop quality candidates and to work on ways to convince voters to abandon first-past-the-post elections so we don't wind up with these jerkoffs in office who don't get 50.1% of the vote or better.

....In May 2013, allegations of a video appearing to show Toronto's mayor, Rob Ford, smoking crack cocaine surfaced after reporters from the Toronto Star newspaper & American website "Gawker.com" reported they were offered to buy copies of the video, then the video vanished. On Oct 31 2013 Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair, said a video seized during an ongoing investigation contain images of Ford that are consistent with media reports of an alleged video. Mr Alexander Lisi, a close personal friend of the mayor, was arrested on marijuana trafficking charges, part of an ongoing investigation into both Lisi & Ford. Blair added that evidence is still being reviewed & that further charges could be laid, Mayor Rob Ford has repeatedly denied publicly the video exists & no one (aside from the police) have seen the video .... (photograph showing mayor's chair, inside Toronto's City Hall Council Chamber)

.... Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair, confirmed what the Toronto Star published in May 2013 .... the mayor of Toronto has been captured on video smoking what appears to be crack cocaine & uttering racist & homophobic remarks. For the past six months, Ford has publicly waged a campaign against the Toronto Star, vilifying the newspaper & its journalists as "maggots" & "liars" accusing the paper of pursuing an idealogical vendetta against him, perhaps the Toronto Star feels vindicated as its reputation was tarnished by Ford....It must be noted however, Mayor Ford has not been charged with any criminal offence, the video has not been publicly seen & Ford refuses to resign....

Someone thanks Toronto's Mayor, Rob Ford, for his great work as a mayor.

This photo came in an email..it says it all!

The only wrong info is that our population is over 3 million.

....Jubilation for "Ford Nation" (Ford supporters) heard clear to downtown Toronto & city hall !! .... Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has won his appeal of the conflict of interest case that ordered him removed from office, a ruling that means he will remain mayor. In it's ruling Friday (January 25th 2013) the court said the appeal is allowed, because city council did not have the jurisdiction to impose a financial penalty on the mayor. It said the original ruling was flawed because "it required Mr Ford to reimburse funds which he never received personally" ....Artwork on side of Toronto dumpster, depicting Toronto's infamous Mayor Rob Ford & Canada's Prime Minister, Stephen Harper....

Rob Ford Obelisk-Like the one in the film 2001 except that this one makes you devolve

Rob Ford is most well known for giving strangers the middle finger, screaming obscenities, driving while reading, and being involved in conflicts of interest. Moreover he has the dillusion that he is above the law.

In Rob's world, baby gets what baby wants!

clownmayor is no more. i made a lawn sign as well, but it needs improvement so i'll rework it in the next couple of days. other signs were made and a few went up, but without me photographing them yet.

i made the base poster over a year ago, and had some leftovers to which i added the red FORMER when i got home tonight after a long day of celebrating the incompetent, loudmouth bigot's removal from office. this has been a long, difficult couple of years for people in this city, progressive or not. the misery exuded by this absurd fool, and his reactionary, bullying behaviour are an embarrassment, and have been glaring, graphic proof of something we all feared years ago: amalgamation was a huge mistake. this criminal, bigoted baby, with a huge sense of entitlement was obviously a terrible choice for mayor, and all the proof we needed of that was evident for anyone who looked into his past. he's never had a job his father didn't get for him, and he has long believed that the laws of the country do not apply to him and his cronies. his verbal and physical abuse of others is a matter of record, as is his racism and homophobia. that 350 000 people voted for this idiot is dsgusting, and it is clear that he and many of his supporters refuse to admit the truth and instead are betting even more heavily on the divisive and punishing tactics of the extreme right-wing. these people are not conservatives, they are hateful idologues, pushing a far-right agenda so that the less extreme rightist garbage they could not pass otherwise gets viewed as more moderate and palatable. when ford started trolling for mayor, i believed that he was a trial balloon being floated by the federal and provincial conservative parties to see just how much bullshit the voters of ontario and the gta would tolerate, and i still think that is true. today the odious stephen harper and tim hudak placed a new pin on their graphs, and that's the only notice they took of the city, having made it abundantly clear years ago that they hate toronto and any sort of progressiveness. guess what, guys? we hate you, too, and you will never have much success here, as your vile pig proved.

rob ford is the first mayor in the history of the city to be removed from office. that ignominy fits him like the cheap suits and drunken scowl he wears so often. since amalgamation we've had two terrible mayors (fraud and mel lastman), both ridiculous clowns, and one decent public servant, david miller. pre-amalgamation, barbara hall and june rowlands, and then we run into the dark time of art eggleton. still, eggleton and lastman at least pretended to take the job seriously much of the time, and seemed to respect the responsibilities accompanying the office, no matter how much fault we found with them. no-one can say the same for the former mayor ford, at least without being, transparently, a liar. further back, people of all political sides fondly remember david crombie, who, while very much a conservative, still showed respect for social justice much of the time and did not make a habit of alienating non-allies. sadly, his form of conservatism is no more.

a final question: since city hall is located west of yonge street, will the new private garbage trucks be the ones used to haul ford's diseased carcass from office, or will he be ground into a paste that can be fed to bloat teenaged sports teams?

some costumes are just gifts of circumstance. with the moronic clown rob ford being voted in by a small-minded collection of bigots and apologists for bigots, the choice this year was clear. no harm was done to this opportunity given the fact that captain shithead favours cheap, ugly suits that don't fit, loud ties, operated with one single slogan (which provided disgusting imagery) that even toronto sun readers could memorise and opted for the impaired antics of a teenager stealing his first case of beer.

i wanted a shrek mask to work from, but every store i went to was free of them, and after ten shops i gave up. so, i took a cheap rubber frankenstein mask and soaked it in pig urine and rancid buttermilk to drain some of the colour from it, leaving it wet and pasty like the real rob ford face. adding to that the cheapest, ugliest suit i could find at a thrift shop (with bonus points to the goodwill cashier who gave me an additional 50% discount when i told her what the costume was), an old pair of cheap running shoes with white socks, a loud, wide tie, and i was all set. wait, had to grab a bottle of skanky beer, a lawn sign that the ford team asked to put up on my lawn (no, fuck off) and one last thing: the gravy train. as with the shrek mask, i had no luck in finding a cheap toy train in the dollar stores around town. i did find some for eight or nine bucks, but that was 300% the cost of the suit so fuck that noise. instead, i drew a train on a sticker and after affixing, shambled around the neighbourhood hollering drunken abuse incoherently at people.

just like rob ford.
