Der Fischereihafen und das Fischrestaurant, ich war schon öfter hier. Jetzt gehe ich erstmal was leckeres essen und dann zum Campingplatz, ein Nachtlager organisieren.

This is why I love roadtrips: almost everything I pass is something wonderful and fabulous and important, if I only just stop to find out. I can't even remember the exact location of this (maybe an hour or two west of Elko, Nevada), but I could spend a long time wandering this landscape. Those rolling hills, the distant mountains--what an exquisite sense of space.

Oh, and as a side-note, the PDX Flickr group is having a Christmas party and white elephant gift exchange on the 9th of December. I hope many of you fine folks can make it!
