You know this old world is just
Keeps on spinnin' around and around and around
And sometimes it just spins too fast
And you, you not only lose your balance
But you lose your rhythm and
It's at times like these that you just need to stop
And not only find your way again but find your own rhythm
Because life has a rhythm
And mother nature has a rhythm
And love oh yes, love has a rhythm
*by Anita Baker
Rhythm of life, my end to your start
Sailing up to reach the shore
Flying to the East, to pick him up
To point he rises again
What comes goes, what begins end
In this mortal world, it's true
In my love, you never see it come,
Not see it go away
Don't you hear the deafening sound of silence
in my tender, loving heartthrob
The rows cut across the time and path,
Ever to stay; no begining, no end
Rhythm of love, always there

Reflecting reeds at Lamb Lake near Annapolis Royal. I generally prefer my reflections mirror smooth,.but I liked the ripple in the score added by the breeze during this late afternoon visit.

please see me in large!
birds. they do such amazing things for me.
it always blows me away the way they manage their personal space. no one tells them to be exactly 6 inches or so apart, yet they are.

Sounds a lot like being free
When you feel
Feel the jungle rhythm

Check out those chat-chat-chattering monkeys
Swinging through the banyan trees
Two by two
To the jungle rhythm
Can't do without rhythm
And when it fills the air
Animals everywhere
Join in the dance
You'll dance along with 'em
Feeling it steal your soul
We'll stomp our paws!
Flap our wings!
Maybe do one or two crazy things
Now you can hightail it out of the jungle
But it never leaves your heart
First you feel that beat start
Bubbling under
Then you hear the tom toms
Loud as thunder
Feel the jungle rhytmmmmmmm!
