these guys were a hoot! for the last 6 miles or so, we'd been passing each other over and over... I'd pass them... then they'd pass me... then I'd pass them... funny the sense of camaraderie that forms out there, like we're all in it together!
Members of the local fire department and soldiers from the National guard toured a flooded neighborhood in Richmond, Rhode Island, with representatives from the American Red Cross to do an inventory of the needs of the residents. These photos were taken several days after the Wood River crested and standing water had receded several feet.
