Plaza de la Revolución, "Revolution Square", is a municipality and a square in Havana, Cuba. The municipality, one of the 15 forming the city, stretches from the square down to the sea at the Malecón and includes the Vedado district.

This is one of the student leaders at the Socialist protest at AIB Bank, Lynch's Castle, Galway where the question posed by his comrade, the man with the megaphone (see my earlier picture) was "What do we want?", and the reply was "A Revolution."

A philosophical question arises (and revolutions always come with philosophical questions): If the pen is mightier than the sword, what's the status of the bic biro?

If this is a pun, it's really bad.

If it is a mistake, it's really sad.

Or is there a deeper meaning I don't get?

Or is it an underground movement I should know?

It seems that non-humans as well have a sense of revolution!, revolution of rocks, seemed clear here, on a beach, with moments of sunset, which flooded by clouds, to announce the end of the day, I have curiosity of this gathering effects , I got on the beach there, I expect, quietly, and the revolution, not possible to meet both, but I saw it with this scene !

Inspired by the spirit of The Beatles and created by Cirque du Soleil, The Beatles REVOLUTION LOUNGE opened at The Mirage in December of 2006. Opening its doors only six months after the high-profile launch of The Beatles LOVE, REVOLUTION offers an extended experience before and after the show.

Revolutionary in design and atmosphere, this ultra-lounge features cutting edge, interactive experiences to create a psychedelic sensory environment and a contemporary interpretation of The Beatles era. Each night will be an evolutionary journey, where both the music and interior transform, resulting in an eclectic nightlife adventure at The Mirage.

This is the first time Cirque du Soleil draws upon their innovative talent to create a unique nightlife experience in Las Vegas.

When we started our walk, I told Laura that I wanted to find things. Ever flip through a Flickr Stream & notice how people stumble onto beautiful things? A bench with "love" written on the back. A heart shaped stone. I realize that to find beauty you have your eyes wide open. I found some words during the walk. Nothing symbolic or hidden. Anyone passing the rail could read this message. Give me a little wiggle room. I just started looking.

Centre City District in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

William Penn, an English Quaker, founded the city in 1682 to serve as capital of the Pennsylvania Colony. Philadelphia played an instrumental role in the American Revolution as a meeting place for the Founding Fathers of the United States, who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776 at the Second Continental Congress, and the Constitution at the Philadelphia Convention of 1787.

Several other key events occurred in Philadelphia during the Revolutionary War including the First Continental Congress, the preservation of the Liberty Bell, the Battle of Germantown, and the Siege of Fort Mifflin. Philadelphia remained the nation's largest city until being overtaken by New York City in 1790; the city was also one of the nation's capitals during the revolution, serving as temporary U.S. capital while Washington, D.C. was under construction. In the 19th and 20th centuries, Philadelphia became a major industrial centre and a railroad hub.

The city grew due to an influx of European immigrants, most of whom initially came from Ireland and Germany—the two largest reported ancestry groups in the city as of 2015. Later immigrant groups in the 20th century came from Italy (Italian being the third largest European ethnic ancestry currently reported in Philadelphia) and other Southern European and Eastern European countries.

In the early 20th century, Philadelphia became a prime destination for African Americans during the Great Migration after the Civil War. Puerto Ricans began moving to the city in large numbers in the period between World War I and II, and in even greater numbers in the post-war period. The city's population doubled from one million to two million people between 1890 and 1950.

Philadelphia is the home of many U.S. firsts, including the first library (1731), hospital (1751), medical school (1765), national capital (1774), stock exchange (1790), zoo (1874), and business school (1881). Philadelphia contains 67 National Historic Landmarks and the World Heritage Site of Independence Hall.

Great British Car Journey Museum

An interactive journey celebrating an era when British entrepreneurs and engineers were at the forefront of a transport revolution.

Herbert Austin and William Morris were the leaders of that revolution. They put the working population behind the wheel and gave us the freedom of mobility which we now take for granted.

This is the story of British industry which, in its heyday, was a worldwide force with products that were exported to all corners of the world. The story of a bygone era when, for half a century, British cars "ruled the road".

The journey starts in the early 1920s when the working family could only dream of owning a car and ends in the early years of the new millennium when most of Britain's great car factories fall silent.

The museum features over 140 British Classic cars, from the legendary Austin 7 to the magnificent Mini.

Many of these cars are now incredibly rare, and the museum searched for several years for superb examples to display.

Cuando da igual la condicion,

Cuando da igual el tamaño,

Cuando da igual todo,

todo, menos lo que importa,

entonces es cuando se alza el pueblo,

porque la union hace la fuerza.

And good place to try out the wicked-worn-look

The 25 April Revolution Monument by João Cutileiro commemorates the day of the 1974 Carnation Revolution, which ended years of dictatorship in Portugal. The revolution ushered in significant economic, demographic, social, and territorial changes in Portugal and its overseas colonies. The dictatorship was abolished in favor of democracy and, as a result, also brought political independence to the countries: Portuguese Guinea, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Sao Tome, and Principe, Angola in Africa, and East Timor in Southeast Asia.

Why does this revolution take its name from carnations? ...
