Still don't have the handles on it yet, but man, it came out nice! The bottom has a faux gusset so carrying bulky things is easier. The top has pleats, making the opening a bit smaller than the bottom of the bag, so things don't fall out!

Zachary seems much more interesting in the picture on...

Daily Dog Challenge 1361. "The Right Side"

I can't imagine why.

Here we have today's picture of Zachary from behind Reduced, the Fractal image is Reused (it was a background for Henry a few days ago) and the image of Zachary catching the ball is completely...

The brushes have been reused more times than we can count. Painting inside / painting outside. Just this week, I painted around the blocks of the house. Yeah, they are no longer green, but a beige as seen on this paint shield. The siding, roof, and windows are done. I picked up a few leftover nails and staples, such as this one, along the way...better than running over them with the mower or stepping on them.

Okay, so I was rusty when I first started painting these blocks around the house. Naturally, I started with the section that would be most viewed by drivers and walkers. On the third day, I was no longer rusty. I slopped the paint up on the blocks and what landed in the flower beds...so be it! I was covered with paint. I still am. My hubby is almost embarassed to go to town with me. I just can't see all the paint splotches that I am wearing on my skin! And you know what? The paint looks shinier on the blocks than it does on my arms, legs, and toes!!! Gosh, I am glad the job is done. Farewell to all the spider friends that followed me on the journey around the outside of our home! I'm done with this task and on to the rest of my summer "to do" list!

Voila! Here it is!

I was inspired to make a set of reusable grocery bags when I read

www.wisdomofthemoon.blogspot.com/2008/01/cheap-easy-fabri.... This set was a birthday gift for my Mom. I used old sheets and a sheer curtain panel. The sheer bags are for produce.

Comes with a strap so you don't need a plastic bag. Also comes with extra bits for the heels of the shoe - if they get damaged you can repair them yourself. This is really excellent work from Wittner, I love to see them reducing waste and helping us increase the useful life of what we buy. Unfortunately, the staff didn't realise this was in the shoe box and gave me a plastic bag anyway!

i am making as many design as possible to figure out a right pattern for my pads making...

This is the project that inspired it all. I made bunches of recycled t-shirt yarn just so I can experiment with making reusable hot drink cup sleeves.

The paper sleeves used in most coffee stores are made with 60% post consumer waste, but more often than not, these mostly recycled sleeves are discarded in the trash.

I made this with the thick yarn and a large crochet hook and worked in the round through the back look only, to kind of give it a bit of corrugated cardboard look.

After testing it, it insulates fingers from the scalding liquid from within while keeping hands gently warmed!

This custom credenza was created from reused vintage locker boxes and reclaimed heart pine.

Yes, as a matter of fact that IS a bent nail holding the table from falling open. It has a spring! And it's OEM!

I don't like to get plastic or paper bags at the store. I always bring my own reusable bags.

Made for my mom from a table cloth she gave me years ago.

One of the only examples in Milwaukee of a building where the facade of a historic building was saved and the rest of the building was demolished. I'll leave it to the viewer whether this works or not.

This building is located on the northeast corner of Dr. M.L. King & W. North Ave.
