Tonight was Stage 20 and last stage before the ride and sprint finish in Paris. They're doing something different for this 100th edition of the Tour de France: the race will start at 6 pm and end approximately at 10 pm. It will make for an interesting end to Le Tour ~ it has never ended at night. The cyclists will be riding over cobbles in the dark.

Most of my sheets have plant themes on them. Here's a flannel sheet with pinecones. I wonder whether I can get a pinecone sheet with cotton plants printed on them.

It says "Caper!!!" so I'm guessing that those round things on the pizza slice are caper-based.

Today I was parked on the top of the parking garage where I park for work. As I was leaving this evening, it was a cloudy icky day, but I though the skyline looked pretty cool so I grabbed a shot with each of the different modes of the fun app Retro Camera on my Android based phone. This really is a fun little application.

Last of the barbershop photos for now.

Andy has been my barber since 4th grade (I'm 34 now). He still remembers my parents' and brother's names despite all the customers he's had and even though the rest of my family hasn't lived around here for years. He even remembers the story from 15 years ago or so when our Thanksgiving turkey was ruined and we ended up having hotdogs for dinner (and ribs my mother about every year around Thanksgiving).

It's comforting to know that there's still barbers out there that are friends of the family. If he ever retires I'm so screwed. I hate trying to describe how I want my hair cut to other 'strange' barbers when I'm not in town. :P

Met up with friends for laughs, dinner and a few drinks. It was a night of ignoring the clock and enjoying the company!
