Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team, Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, and Manchester Methodist Housing Association and partners held two Respect Action Days on 1 and 2 June.
We visited 148 addresses in the area to find out your main concerns in relation to crime and disorder and antisocial behaviour. This information has been collated into an action plan and we will be working with our partners to resolve these issues.

In respect of the recent focus in the media regarding the 'gun culture' of Britain I felt I would like to make comment. 'Party Favour' A base metal chain with 18ct Gold plate makes reference to the bling street styling of jewellery on youths in cities like London. The inexpensive, brightly coloured, 'party favours' purchased from Woolworths are a statement about the young demographic using guns on the streets and the often infantile reasoning behind a gun killing.

Featuring the top 100 players in each respected region make the NUC Five-Star Showcase an all MVP event. The NUC Five-Star Showcase is looking for Class of 2016 and select 2017 high school athletes that have Division 1 offers and possible under the radar players that we feel can play at the scholarship level! With the NUC Five-Star Showcase now going into its third year, history shows that 90 percent of players that have finished in the Top 5 at each position received scholarships. This is a chance for athletes to prove themselves and compete against other top athletes in individual positional drills and one-on-ones. There is no testing just football related drills and competition.

Vineri, 24 martie 2017, pe platoul Centrului de Cultură Urbană Casino, prefectul şi subprefectul judeţului Cluj, Gheorghe Ioan Vuşcan, respectiv Zoltán Györke, au participat la activităţile organizate cu prilejul aniversării Zilei Poliţiei Române. La ceas aniversar, în cadrul unui ceremonial solemn, Inspectoratul de Poliţie Judeţean Cluj a primit drapelul unităţii, fiind marcat un moment unic în istoria acestei instituţii. Acest eveniment are o importanţă majoră pentru IPJ Cluj, drapelul fiind conferit prin ordin al ministrului afacerilor interne şi oferit cu ocazia aniversării a 195 de ani de atestare documentară a Poliţiei Române. Acordarea drapelului vine în întărirea identităţii Inspectoratului şi a principiilor după care acesta își ghidează activitatea. Acvila de aur încoronată, cartea deschisă, securile romane, Lupa Capitolină sunt doar câteva dintre elementele însemnului heraldic al inspectoratului, care evidenţiază puterea, autoritatea, cultura, curajul, onoarea, echitatea – atribute prezente în activitatea de zi cu zi a poliţistului. În contextul celebrării acestui moment, în colaborare cu Serviciul Judeţean Cluj al Arhivelor Naţionale, a fost organizată o expoziţie de documente originale din Fondul Arhivistic al Inspectoratului de Poliţie Judeţean Cluj. La mulţi ani poliţiştilor clujeni! La mulți ani, Poliția Română!
