« Je pense que les personnes qui montrent le plus de persévérance dans la vie sont les enfants. Avez-vous vu un enfant apprendre à marcher ? Il lui faut essayer mille fois. Se mettre debout, tomber et se relever à nouveau.
En tant que jeunes, nous sommes si facilement frustrés lorsque nous ne réussissons pas. Mais parfois, il faut juste essayer mille fois, jusqu'à ce que nous réussissions. »

Brig. Gen. Thomas A. Horlander, Installation Management Command director of resource management, and Command Sgt. Maj. Neil Ciotola took part in the Pilgrimage to the Alamo Monday April 11 at 4 p.m. Since 1925, the Daughters of the Alamo have led this time-honored tradition to pay homage to the defenders of the fateful garrison.
A solemn procession of various civic organizations, patriotic groups and military units and commands silently carry wreaths six blocks from the Municipal Auditorium and lay them to rest in front of the Alamo. A voice calls out the names of the defenders who gave their lives for Texas independence.
Lt. Gen. Guy Swan, commanding general of U.S. Army North, gave remarks and the ceremony ended with taps.

Our Daily Bread Food & Resource Center is an affiliate of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Our Daily Bread offers client-choice shopping that allows clients to select the foods they need and want in a supermarket-like setting. The center places an emphasis on nutritious foods, especially fresh fruit and vegetables. In addition to providing access to nutritious food, the center also allows volunteers and staff more opportunities to interact with clients and find additional ways they can be of service.
