Kickoff to Rebuild is an annual NFL sanctioned event hosted by Rebuilding Together. For 18 years, Rebuilding Together has partnered with the NFL in Super Bowl cities across the country, rebuilding houses and bringing together neighborhoods, home by home, block by block, because everyone deserves to live in a safe and healthy home.
Highlights include:
- Rebuilding 10 homes in Algiers for veterans, teachers, athletes and other long-time community members.
- Installing a new Carter’s Kids playground with Lowe’s.
- Resource Fair with education and support for the community.
- First annual Toolbelts+Tailgates, with tailgaters feeding volunteers and celebrity judges including Robert Royal and Garrett Hartley.
- Second Line with O’Perry Walker Marching Band leading the volunteers to lunch And more!
We have mobilized hundreds of volunteers, past and present NFL members and players, New Orleans community leaders, well-known national celebrities, including Carter Oosterhouse from HGTV & Carter's Kids, and local and national sponsors to complete renovations on homes in the McClendonville Neighborhood of New Orleans.

Downside Resource Centre was a care centre for the elderly and people with long-term health conditions. Sadly it has now been closed by the council and stands empty and derelict so I thought it was about time to get some photos. It is just around the corner from me but it was not that easy ! The whole place is fenced off with one gate that was padlocked but after scouting around the back I found a way in through someone elses property ( sorry folks ).
I took this through a gap in the boarding and to be honest did not fancy going any further in.
Home of Samuel T. and Regina Johnson on Arnold Ave. in TRF- Barbara Hooks is grand-daughter of Regina & Samuel. The Candy store owned by Samuel T. Johnson is in Englestad Pioneer Village in TRF.

IRISH HOSPICE FOUNDATION LAUNCHES NEW RESOURCE TO HELP BEREAVED WORKERS.Over 190,000 workers affected by bereavement each year- .The Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) launched an innovative resource pack aimed at helping managers and workers to support their colleagues affected by bereavement in the Irish workplace each year. .In Ireland, over 190,000 workers are affected directly by bereavement..An initiative of the IHF, the resource pack has been a collaborative project between employers, unions and representative bodies. It is made up of six Information Sheets which are simple, easy to use guides on topics such as “How to Deliver Bad News” and “What to Say” and these can be downloaded free of charge from www.griefatwork.ie The project has been developed by the IHF with the help of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation, Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU), The Health and Safety Authority (HSA), Irish Business & Employers Confederation (Ibec), Irish Small & Medium Enterprises Association (ISME), The Wheel, Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA), Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), Small Firms Association (SFA) and the Irish Management Institute (IMI)..Picture Colm Mahady / Fennells - Copyright 2014 Fennell Photography.

On the 14th November in the Montbrillant Building of ITU, this World Café provided a cross-section of ITU staff with the opportunity to contribute to some of the key strategic challenges faced by the ITU
The objective of the event was to pull together the ideas and input from staff on how we can better attract and engage Sector Members as well as develop new approaches for resource mobilization. 356 ideas were collected - the most abundant harvest so far from any ITU World Café.

Well, nothing can be guaranteed who is going to take care of your bookkeeping work when you go with a home based service provider. Understandably, they cannot afford and hire professionals.
There are custom features like a moderated library feature for submitting formal resources like issue briefs, talking points, and terms of reference for working with contractors. These too are all easily sortable with faceted search.

Attention has become a scarce resource – a recent study found that only one-third of adverts get the audience's full attention.
Where possible, people will skip ads or look away. As a result, brands are increasingly fighting for crumbs. This new emphasis on grabbing consumers' attention is putting a greater emphasis back on creative teams and their ability to tell stories. In other words, the goal is to create content audiences watch because they want to, not because they can't skip it.
As brands are increasingly shifting focus from traditional advertising to entertaining original programming, ESCP's Creativity Marketing Center (CMC) hosted a panel discussion on the latest in branded entertainment initiatives. Three experts on the topic discussed the latest in theory and practice on entertainment and culture marketing and how brands can navigate entertainment to leverage their intellectual property and partnerships.

- Samantha Glynne, the European lead for UTA Entertainment and Culture Division
- Katharina Stolley, Lecturer and Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Marketing at the Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham
