First New Years gym
Always one of the worst days of the year, the return to the gym after Christmas, and made worse this year by being in Zambia for three weeks just before, so I only had one visit in between. Suffice to say, I didn’t feel better for having put myself through hell…

Trent Dabbs of Stuttgart was among the 74 Farm Bureau leaders participating in the State Resolutions Committee meeting Nov. 7-8 at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock.
The committee refined and consolidated policy proposals into a set of formal recommendations to be considered by voting delegates during the business session of the Arkansas Farm Bureau State Convention, Nov. 28-30 at the Little Rock Convention Center.
Arkansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, private farm and rural advocacy organization of more than 190,000 families throughout the state working to improve farm and rural life.

The MSBA Alternative Dispute Resolution Section hosted nationally renowned mediator Kenneth R. Feinberg at its Annual Spring Event Training and Judge Bell Award Dinner on April 24, 2018, at Tabrizi's Restaurant in Baltimore.
During his presentation, "Master of Disaster: Mediation and Advocacy in Life-Changing Events", Feinberg shared highlights from his decades in the field, which have included serving as Special Master for the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund; the DOJ U.S. Victims of State-Sponsored Terrorism Fund; the Department of the Treasury's TARP Executive Compensation and MPRA pension reform programs, and the Agent Orange Victim Compensation Program, as well as overseeing the compensation of victims of the April 2010 BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and a host of other high-profile cases.
Later, Section members enjoyed remarks from Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera, Court of Appeals of Maryland, and Retired Chief Judge Robert M. Bell, who presented the Section's annual award named in his honor to Louise Phipps Senft in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the ADR field.
