It's nearly two weeks since my father-in-law's funeral, but I couldn't resist posting this photo from the wake which embodies what a joyous occasion it became, a proper celebration of a great man's life.
I couldn't resist some images of the ducks while exploring a new location in my recent video (you can watch it at youtu.be/R2g2cfnqosY.
I was laying on the ground near the mouth of the Algar river in Altea, Spain taking shots of the ducks when this male mallard beat its wings and I managed to catch them in this position where it looks quite imposing
She can never resist checking out the photo props :-)
It has actually been raining overnight.

We can credit the Chinese for being the first to protect us from the rain. Their paper parasols received a layer of wax followed by lacquer that made the umbrella withstand the elements.
One of the first umbrella shops in existence opened in 1830 at 53 New Oxford Street in London, England. The shop, operated by James Smith and Sons, still operates regular hours at the same location today.
In 1928, Hans Haupt’s pocket umbrellas appeared. In 1969, Bradford E. Phillips, the owner of Totes Incorporated of Loveland, Ohio, obtained a patent for the first “working folding umbrella.”

Another from the many photographs I took when at Anglesey Abbey. So many types and colours, I couldn't resist taking loads of shots.
I couldn't resist to show one more from this set.
Textures, materials, texture change scripts, sit animations... everything is set..
just need to check the perms, make the packs, and the pics...
The lil pup is not included, of course, that's simply me, i wanted to jump in the scene lol...
Stool has 12 sit animations.
Bench can have 2 sitters, 9 animations each.
The fruit bowl, the table runner, the towel & the hat are texture change (6 color options)
Everything is original mesh from myself.
Pieces will be sold individually or as a full set.
copy and mod as usually.
Still dont know when and where ill release it but that will be for february.

40106 arrives at Highley with the 1340 Bridgnorth to Kidderminster. She catches a rare glimpse of sunshine as she makes her final approach.
* Dans la réserve de Pibeste. Je ne sais pas vraiment ce qu'est cet arbre, mais il est moitié mort, moitié vivant. Les conditions de vie pour ce végétal sur cette corniche vers 1500 mètres d'altitude et en plein vent ne doivent pas être une sinécure !
Pour ce qui est de la photo, j'ai fait pour avoir une prolongation de l'image sur 3 plans, en allant du bas droit au haut gauche. Le premier avec cet arbre, le second, avec ce promontoire et ce rappel de vert avec de nouveau des arbres, et enfin le lointain parsemé lui aussi d'arbres.
* This is in the Pibeste wildlife reserve near the wellknown town Lourdes. I do not know the name of this tree, but it looks like it is half dry half living. Its windy position makes the living conditions pretty hard !
I built the picture with 3 plans from bottom right to top left, front, back and middle, each with darkgreen hints.
So glad that I went looking for something on my hard drive last night as finding (what I think are) some really nice images from my early morning jaunts to one of the coves in Coverack.
Despite the fact that we have a criminal in The White House who has stolen an election, committed treason, is basically a Russian mobster, and has had affairs and coverups with several prostitutes, we still have to tolerate the onslaught of his daily horrifying policies, decisions, and world views. Just recently, Secretary of Education and destroyer of young souls, Betsy DeVos announced she wants to make federal funds available to arm teachers with guns, As most parents are sending their children back to school this week and next (or did so in the previous couple of weeks), this is the exact opposite of what they want. As an educator, this is also something I can say has really been an anathema to teachers. We went to school to teach children, not to use firearms. Despicable!
