I can never resist a short stop at the roadside viewpoint on the road from Windermere to Bowness. it must be one of the most photographed scenes in England. The fells range from Wetherlam on the left, through Crinkle Crags and Bowfell to the Langdales on the right.
This is probably the most difficult photo manipulation I've ever done.. I was about to give up but I'm happy with how it turned out!

Lilac-breasted roller (Coracias caudatus) I try to avoid taking photos of this rather over photographed roller. But couldn't resist this!
I couldn't resist, I opened the packet and saw this one tulip with a petal torn, and then I saw more: the petal and the leaf touching, ever so gently.
The waterdrops were an added bonus.
Emotion in photography, an ALL-IMPORTANT ingredient!
For without emotion a photograph just become a ‘picture’?

Even though this is supposedly one of the most photographed barns in the world and the weather wasn't the best for this shot, I can never resist taking a picture of Moulton Barn and the Tetons near Jackson Hole, Wyoming whenever I'm in the area.
