ISE awarded over 100 fellowship support grants to bring young researchers from all over the world to present their research at the landmark first ICE in China.
These prestigious grants were awarded to young endocrinologists and/or endocrinologists from developing countries who demonstrated effectiveness in endocrine research.
Congratulations to our successful awardees who were presented with their grant at an informal fellows reception by Secretary Treasurer Professor Paul Stewart and incoming Chair of ISE, Professor André Lacroix.

For this project I researched the shape of the human spine and the ribcage.
I researched Rodarte's collection which was inspired by parts of the body. I was inspired by the khaki and orange shade colours used in the collection, as well as the variety of textures used.

Many ant species dig nests underground, which makes it difficult to observe the ant behavior in a natural setting. One method for getting around this problem is to construct "ant farms" out of two panes of glass and thin strips of plastic or wood, held together with binder clips. Here are two seed-harvester ant queens in the midst of digging a new nest.
