Achnashellach Station is a request stop on the Kyle Line. The platform is tiny but there is shelter for a bad day. There are a lot of good walks in this area and it is possible to come by train do a walk or cycle and catch the train back. Just make sure you catch the train it is a long walk to anywhere from here. You will notice the big trees so you can imagine this place would be chronic for midges in the summer months.
I was pleased to add another station to my collection I have just three to go on the Kyle Line.

Had a call from a fellow photographer today saying he'd been talking to the farmer at Hardington Mains. The farmer has asked if photograhers could stay away during the threat of coronavirus as I think he more or else farms the land himself and needs to cut down any threat of him getting it. They are welcome after that.
A few people requested the ‘Modern Hookah’ seats that temporary rez as an actual furniture item. You can purchase it at the Tredente Mainstore for 60L this weekend. 👍

I had a request out of the blue from a Swedsh company to pay to use one of my photos of a tightrope walker, pouring a cup of tea whilst on a tightrope, in an advert of theirs.
I managed to track down 'Anaspitos Bullzini' down, aka Chris, and we agreed to split the money 50/50. So we arranged to meet last night so I could give him his share and we could celebrate with a a fine cup of Earl Grey tea. I had such a warm welcome and it was lovely to meet him, see the area he trains in as well as the props for his new show. And of course I couldn't leave without a photo of our meeting outside the converted 1920s circus caravan that he lives in with his wife.
This is what I like so much about flickr, the random requests and opportunities such as this.
Oh.....i'm the one on the left in my boring office clothes :-)

As requested by pretty much everyone, here are more photos of my LAAT. For anyone new, it's in perfect minifigure scale, has over 3,000 pieces, and took around four months in total to design and build. Before anyone asks, yes, there are no visible rockets on top. I tried it, but they looked messy on the smooth, vast white panels. They just looked out of place. I beleive by the time ep.3 rolled around, the LAAT's had closed up tops anyway, and mine is already a hybrid between ep.2 & 3 Gunships so it works out in the end :D

On a recent trip to San Francisco I brought only analog cameras and decided to play with a bunch of different film. Using my Canon AE1 I snapped several shots of the city as I wandered about. Upon returning home I still had a couple of rolls of film and decided to bring the AE1 along when I shot the last of the polaroid film with Genevieve. I had what I thought to be a brand new roll of film that I put in the camera just before leaving the city. As above proves, the new roll was one that I had not completely rewound and I reshot the entire roll in a filed of flowers. Lucky for me, the AE1 does not have an automatic rewind nor does it have an LCD where you can see the photos that you have already made. Having known that this roll was already "used" I may never have had the thought to expose it again in a field of flowers. That said, these are some of my favorite photos taken this year. What would we do without the mistakes?
