I took this photo on 6/2/2016 at Lakeside Park. I reported the tags to the Tucson Wildlife Center and just now (1/18/2018) received a reply that may be of some interest: "Nice photo of pelican 51H! I helped band this pelican on July 15, 2014 on Gunnison Island, Great Salt Lake, Utah. Glad to see that it is doing well. If you happen to find any more pelicans with wing tags, please let me know. Reposting an older one from a year ago. I just ordered a gallery wrapped canvas of this one. I got a special deal from McKenna and it was too good to pass up. Besides they claim to be the best (who doesn't right?)....so I wanted to give em a try and see how they stack up against WHCC and P2C.
When I originally posted this one, I posted it SOOC. When I went to look at it to upload it to McKenna, it looked horrible. So I did my typical post processing to it...and I thought I would post it again in addition to placing my order. :)
