Those were the days my friends, we thought they'd never end…
I still can not believe that you are gone. I saw you full with life, ideas and plans for the future not more than 4 weeks ago. We were on the top of the Vodno mountain above the city of Skopje discussing about your next project and my cover photo again plus design about it. You did your part, I did mine and we agreed that everything is going in right directions, but Covid-19 takes another life.
This was cover for his special edition of “Four Seasons - Autumn Sessions” released in 2008 and presented in September 2009 at MoCA Skopje - Museum of Contemporary Art as part from our multimedia exhibition named “Four Seasons”. On the second page of the same CD, we wrote:
“…”bpm” which is too slow for all those who wait, too fast for those who are afraid of it, and for all those who love, create and dream - infinite! Balance and freedom are in us and here they are waiting for their release, smiling and cheering the listeners, for us it is a treasure that cannot be bought, but won in a special, unique and original way. Their smiles are a gift to all of us!”

🍳🍔 Empire Diner is one of the last free-standing diners left in Manhattan and is located inside a 1946 Fodero Dining Car. It closed in 2015, after a second failed attempt to revive it. I was listening and singing Ben Sidran’s - Blue Camus tonight when I noticed that they are looking at me very strange and I said:

This restaurant specializes in #cuchifritos, a variety of pork-based dishes that are commonly fried. The word cuchifritos literally translates to "fried pig" 🐷This colorful #storefront has an equally colorful name "El Coqui" 🐸which is a very small tree frog and the official mascot of #PuertoRico. In the year 2003 with my friends we were riding mountain bikes on the Bistra mountain and we had marked and traced almost 70 km. of MB tracks. We went to the village of Galichnik that day, too. It was quiet when we had descent on the way back. In the same folder I found a short note that I was written that night after the journey: “Trough wonderful grass terrain you may be lucky to ride beside wild horses and you will see the sheep fold, be aware of the dogs!
As an off-road cyclist, it is your responsibility to ride safely and considerately!

Mr. Figaro Unisex Hairstyling in Sheepshead Bay was established in 1977 by Jerry May aka Mr. Figaro. Mr. May was born in Russia in 1927 into a family of barbers and not only learned to cut #hair but also to sing #opera at a young age. He told us that he "took the name Mr. Figaro after the original singing #barber from Rossini's 1816 comic opera." Matija Plays the Music of Arsen.
Recorded just two weeks after his father's passing, the jazz pianist Matija Dedić is a moving tribute to Arsen Dedić, the renowned Croatian singer, songwriter, writer, translator and composer. Probably there is a plethora of artists today who are too easily compared to some of the most renowned artists of our times, songwriters like Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, but none of them in reality could get close to the dizzying heights of the pantheon of these artistic Gods. Arsen was never someone who was merely compared with these people, quite the contrary, he was an equal member of this exclusive club. Not only was he a gifted lyricist and songwriter, but he was also classically trained musician, and had done numerous soundtracks and theatre music in his lifetime.
Arsen was born in Šibenik on 28th of July 1938.
Šibenik is the oldest native Croatian town on the shores of the sea. UNESCO World Heritage - The Cathedral of St. James, UNESCO World Heritage - Fortress St. Nicholas, first street lights in the world, fabulous Krka waterfalls, the birth town of legendary basketball player Dražen Petrović and An International Festival for Kids.
In June and July, Šibenik becomes a city of children, a city celebrating children’s imagination and creativity. This year it will be host to children of the world, for the 59th year in a row, and its streets will be taken over by children’s creations.
