Even my little friend here is a bit damp today as you can see from the drops on her whiskers and her wet tail. I told Mike he should put an umbrella up over the feeding station for her and her feathered friends. I got a "look". LOL

Here I am in Suzhou in this evening, where 100km away from Shanghai. And sorry for my late reply on this Sunday .

The establishment is owned by Mr. JD Russel, a distinguished gentleman with rugged good looks and dark hair. It was rumored that he had once stood alongside the President during the famed charge up San Juan Hill, a tale that added to his allure. Whenever he was not engaged in assisting patrons, he took pleasure in offering a complimentary piece of hard candy from his extensive display.

This day, as I approached the entrance, he could be seen diligently sweeping the walkway. Upon noticing my presence, his face brightened with a warm and cordial smile as he stepped forward to hold the door open. “Good afternoon, Miss MacKenna. A truly splendid day, is it not?” he inquired graciously. I responded with a smile, expressed my thanks, and offered a playful wink. “Indeed, Mr. Russel, it is a most delightful day,” I replied.

(76/365) My apologies for not commenting on many photos of late nor replying to comments. I've been laid low by a flu-like virus for the past 10 days. I am a lot better now but I'm still very tired & severely lacking in enthusiasm. I know a few of my Flickr friends have been suffering too, perhaps the virus spreading via the internet?

My daughter took the day off work Thursday to come up from Cork city to visit me which was a lovely surprise. She brought me these flowers to cheer me up. Not a great photo but it was the only one I took yesterday as I didn't venture out so it will have to do for my daily pic. A belated Happy St Patrick's Day & thanks to everyone who has commented on my recent photos.

Later burned down to commemorate the Great Fire of London in 1666 😮

The artist behind the 120ft giant replica is David Best probably best known for his work at the 'Burning Man' festival.

The burning took place on 1-4 September 2016 and was a commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Great Fire of London.

The "Wake me up, when" is the SQS 3rd gen Cargo SHIP. Based out of the New Hashima Space Docks, this 5 person utility hauler main route is between the Jovian moons.

I started this SHIPtember 10 days late, as I was getting last minute sorting done as I knew I'd need all the fancy colours for the cargo containers... and I didn't think I would finish, from the late start, to mini vacation I had planned I was already cutting it close. Throw in a family emergency I didn't think I could finish with 2 days left. Several cases of pop later and no sleep I'm fairly happy with what I had in the end.

I'd like to do some additional passes to clean stuff up and improve on the front section....

The SHIP was destined to dock at New Hashima at Brickworld this year, and one of multiple Cargo SHIPs expected to show up in the new Island.

Huge shoutout to @alec_d who lent me a bunch of Maersk to make this even remotely possible. As well as Pierre for inspiring me to try for Maersk and inthehert to push me to finally start building.

And thanks to everyone that replied on IG story that helped with suggestions on cargo containers. And my SHIPing mate - Mr. Drake for getting the SQS fleet going with his wonderful SHIP.

This photo is so very, very old. I went through my photostream the other day and came across this photo from a very windy day back in february 2010, and I realised I'd never edited all of my favourites.

It's weird how things have changed, I took this photo right before my a-levels that I was so scared of, and now I'm attending university.

I have never experienced such heavy wind again ever since, especially not during sunset.
