Since so many liked the original I did a remix... Winter has arrived in Otherworld... =)
The Lego Moon to Mars Initiative. This entry won runner-up in Lego IDEAS' "Moon to Mars" contest in 2019! Essentially just a giant slingshot ;-)
When the world comes clear,
changeless in its changing,
and everywhere revealed,
this sun might be lighting
a rendered wall inscribed
by winter tree's shadow;
when the world comes clear
light might seem to shift
to show a morning free of any other time;
when the world comes clear
something pulling tight within
your mind might fall away
to leave a formless space,
a fathomless space in which
eternal life cannot be granted
or even offered,
but only recognised, so simply,
as what you are.

Taking a break from portraits to do a fun piece.. after drawing the white horse , in itself to be a study,, Europa, the 6h moon from Jupiter , kept coming to mind and thus the platform for this drawing......I guess NASA and I have common ground with this one.... I have done more work since posting and will share the results soon.. thanks everyone for your visits and comments !
A render I did a while ago. I wasn´t lazy the last years and learned a lot of things about working with Blender.
Tryting to get a fancier render of this sculpt, faking the same techniques I use in photography doesn't quite do the trick.
I finally like how this head looks on that body though.
Details of an American Beech leaf in early fall, showing venations and the insults rendered by chewing insects.
My first render to be posted online.
Created using:
-MakeHuman
-Blender
-NIK collection
Thank you for watching :-)

A proper render for the car, with both sides. Also more detailed rims (that are cheating but hey, senator chinchilla gets to 3d print his) and working pop ups.
On a steep slope where stands of quaking aspen trees cascade down the mountainside, a tall pine stands out from the deciduous surroundings. The aspen groves here have just past their peak and are transitioning into their winter slender state while the very different strategy of the conifer is made even more apparent. Thick atmospheric distortion renders this image quite painterly in close inspection, as the air moved throughout this popular valley in the afternoon sunshine. Soon the Sun would dip behind the ridge and the intense backlight on the golden and fiery aspen leaves would cease, a progression of unchangeable inevitability that time imposes. I am thankful that photography provides the means to capture real moments of light that happened.
“He is extremely ambitious and has more than once ignored his mission objectives in the interests of his own profit. The last time this happened, I had Vezok show him how easily armor can be shattered when you know how.”
— The Shadowed One, Dark Hunters
This is Kraata-Kal, a prodigal son to the very Makuta Teridax. Once upon a time Makuta decided to experiment with mysterious mutagen known as Kal and dipped a Kraata of his own making into it. The resulting creature proved to be too intelligent, and with ambitions worth of his heritage, so soon after Kraata-Kal received himself a heavily modified Rahkshi-like exo-skeleton, he left the home shores of Destral towards the new beginning as the Dark Hunter.
This model is made in the likeness of Demitsorou‘s depiction of Kraata-Kal.

I haven't been posting much action stuff because I haven't been doing much. Between an injury and hunkering down to avoid the rona, I haven't had many opportunities for action photos. However, I did make a trip to Southern Utah last month and got in one good sunset session. This is a new spot and it's got lots of potential. I really liked the composition on this photo, with the shadow creeping in from below. The title of the photo comes from the rider's name: Ren. I shoot with him a lot when I'm in the Hurricane/Zion area.
