This is a short overview of the devices that Be2 consists of.
There is a camera unit that you can place on any vertical surface using synthetic gecko skin. This camera is used to capture you while you move around and multitask.
The handheld unit is for more personal conversations. It has a camera behind the screen and an extra camera on the back for easy sharing. It also reads your temperature and heart rate and transfers this data to the person you are talking to - it adds a physical contact to your conversation.
The base unit has a projector, camera, 2 microphones and speakers built in. It also takes care of the processing of the video and audio feeds that are transferred wirelessly between the devices.
The base unit also has an external microphone that you can take out and place on you while you are moving around, maintaining crisp and clear audio all through your conversations.
The charger pad charges the devices individually via wireless phased induction coil technology.
My final project is developed for Cisco, and is a video communication device concept. Cisco has copyright of the project.
“Red-wattled Lapwing" has characteristic loud alarm calls which are variously rendered as did he do it or pity to do it leading to colloquial names like the did-he-do-it bird. Usually seen in pairs or small groups not far from water but may form large flocks in the non-breeding season.

Found this sweet LEGOBUILDER model over at their archive, so I imported it into LeoCAD and over to MAX and rendered&textured&lit it.

After lumping my car up on a narrow space beside a rather busy road and wandering nervously through someones garden anticipating a 'get orrf my land' I found this rather strange looking painted concrete smothered church. I am not usually a fan of such finishes, St Augustines of Hippo is my most disliked finish, even though that one has the illuminated cross atop its tower that as a lad I would spy from a long way off, because it meant we were on our way to Felixstowe for a brilliant day out, what am I rambling on about! Oh yes Chelsworth Church, I didn't expect too much because of the render, but once inside I changed my tune. There is a bit of everything in here, outside there was a nasty protusion!, inside it turned out to be an interesting tomb canopy. There are lots of memorials to victims of many different wars/campaigns, the latest being Afghanistan 2010. My favorite piece was a simple little barrel presented to the kids of Sunday School Easter 1901. And there is a doom painting too, no comment!!
The yellow brickwork of Woking library has been rendered over now - we won't ever be seeing those bricks again!
Meanwhile, the front entrance is having a cafe built in it, with library users relegated to a new entrance being built down the side.
Not sure what the problem would have been of having the cafe but still being able to walk through the front, I thought they liked these open plan things these days...?
While the library is closed, Surrey County Council are using two small shop units in Wolsey Walk as a temporary measure, one for a limited selection of books (and a limited selection of bus timetable books too!!), the other with all the computers in for people to use.

Simulated, remeshed, and rendered with Ready, ZBrush, and Cycles. This is a rendering of a system of partial differential equations simulating the branching patterns of lungs and other types of branching systems.
