Deboxing my Snow White and the Hag Doll Set. The slipcover is removed, then the hard plastic cover, leaving the dolls in clear view. They are attached to the cardboard backing, plastic supports and dolls stand by wires, rubber bands and plastic ties.

Detailed photos of my Snow White and the Hag Doll Set, the first in store release of the 2015 Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. I got it today in my local Disney Store raffle. The set is #2595 of 6000.

Snow White's in box pose is stiff, with her face pointing up too much, and her curly hair messy, especially on the right. She has the 2012 Classic Princess style body, with hard plastic legs, external hinge knee joints, and ball jointed ankles. She has golden yellow flats, matching the color of her skirt. She has a full length velvet cape with satin lining.

The Hag (or Witch) has a unique body and limbs. Similar to the DFDC Beast doll, she has an awkward stance if free standing. In fact, my doll's right leg cannot be straightened completely and her fixed ankles are bent, so her natural standing pose is stooped, making her stand about 10 inches tall. In the box pose, her feet is raised by plastic forms, so if they are removed for deboxing, her feet dangle in the air if she is reboxed. She doesn't have ankle joints, so she cannot point her toes to reach the floor of the display stand.

They did a fabulous job making the Hag an accurate representation of the animated movie character. I also like Snow White's anxious expression, which is appropriate for being next to the evil Hag. I did the best I could to make Snow's hair neater, but it is still messier than I would like. Her curly hair is heavily stiffened with hair product, so it was not easy for me to rearrange her hair using my fingers.

Some of you may have noticed that, unfortunately, owing to the fact that a certain person who sells truck photos on eBay commercially has been lifting my images from this album and selling them I have had to remove 2300 photos that didn't have a watermark. I have now run around 1700 through Lightroom and added a watermark with the intention of bulk uploading them again. Rather than watermark the existing (hidden) files in Flickr one at a time it will be easier to do it this way. I definitely won’t be adding individual tags with the make and model of each vehicle I will just add generic transport tags. Each photo is named after the vehicle and reg in any case. For anyone new to these images there is a chapter and verse explanation below. It is staggering how many times I get asked questions that a quick scan would answer or just as likely I can’t possibly answer – I didn’t take them, but, just to clarify-I do own the copyright- and I do pursue copyright theft.

This is a collection of scanned prints from a collection of photographs taken by the late Jim Taylor A number of years ago I was offered a large number of photographs taken by Jim Taylor, a transport photographer based in Huddersfield. The collection, 30,000 prints, 20,000 negatives – and copyright! – had been offered to me and one of the national transport magazines previously by a friend of Jim's, on behalf of Jim's wife. I initially turned them down, already having over 30,000 of my own prints filed away and taking space up. Several months later the prints were still for sale – at what was, apparently, the going rate. It was a lot of money and I deliberated for quite a while before deciding to buy them. I did however buy them directly from Jim’s wife and she delivered them personally – just to quash the occasional rumour from people who can’t mind their own business. Although some prints were sold elsewhere, particularly the popular big fleet stuff, I should have the negatives, unfortunately they came to me in a random mix, 1200 to a box, without any sort of indexing and as such it would be impossible to match negatives to prints, or, to even find a print of any particular vehicle. I have only ever looked at a handful myself unless I am scanning them. The prints are generally in excellent condition and I initially stored them in a bedroom without ever looking at any of them. In 2006 I built an extension and they had to be well protected from dust and moved a few times. Ultimately my former 6x7 box room office has become their (and my own work’s) permanent home.

I hope to avoid posting images that Jim had not taken his self, however should I inadvertently infringe another photographers copyright, please inform me by email and I will resolve the issue immediately. There are copyright issues with some of the photographs that were sold to me. A Flickr member from Scotland drew my attention to some of his own work amongst the first uploads of Jim’s work. I had a quick look through some of the 30 boxes of prints and decided that for the time being the safest thing for me to do was withdraw the majority of the earlier uploaded scans and deal with the problem – which I did. whilst the vast majority of the prints are Jims, there is a problem defining copyright of some of them, this is something that the seller did not make clear at the time. I am reasonably confident that I have since been successful in identifying Jims own work. His early work consists of many thousands of lustre 6x4 prints which are difficult to scan well, later work is almost entirely 7x5 glossy, much easier to scan. Not all of the prints are pin sharp but I can generally print successfully to A4 from a scan.

You may notice photographs being duplicated in this Album, unfortunately there are multiple copies of many prints (for swapping) and as I have to have a system of archiving and backing up I can only guess - using memory - if I have scanned a print before. The bigger fleets have so many similar vehicles and registration numbers that it is impossible to get it right all of the time. It is easier to scan and process a print than check my files - on three different PC’s - for duplicates. There has not been, nor will there ever be, any intention to knowingly breach anyone else's copyright. I have presented the Jim Taylor collection as exactly that-The Jim Taylor Collection- his work not mine, my own work is quite obviously mine.

Unfortunately, many truck spotters have swapped and traded their work without copyright marking it as theirs. These people never anticipated the ease with which images would be shared online in the future. I would guess that having swapped and traded photos for many years that it is almost impossible to control their future use. Anyone wanting to control the future use of their work would have been well advised to copyright mark their work (as many did) and would be well advised not to post them on photo sharing sites without a watermark as the whole point of these sites is to share the image, it is very easy for those that wish, to lift any image, despite security settings, indeed, Flickr itself, warns you that this is the case. It was this abuse and theft of my material that led me to watermark all of my later uploads. I may yet withdraw non-watermarked photos, I haven’t decided yet. (I did in the end)

To anyone reading the above it will be quite obvious that I can’t provide information regarding specific photos or potential future uploads – I didn’t take them! There are many vehicles that were well known to me as Jim only lived down the road from me (although I didn’t know him), however scanning, titling, tagging and uploading is laborious and time consuming enough, I do however provide a fair amount of information with my own transport (and other) photos. I am aware that there are requests from other Flickr users that are unanswered, I stumble across them months or years after they were posted, this isn’t deliberate. Some weekends one or two “enthusiasts” can add many hundreds of photos as favourites, this pushes requests that are in the comments section ten or twenty pages out of sight and I miss them. I also have notifications switched off, I receive around 50 emails a day through work and I don’t want even more from Flickr. Other requests, like many other things, I just plain forget – no excuses! Uploads of Jim’s photos will be infrequent as it is a boring pastime and I would much rather work on my own output.

Demonstration video of the SNES Transformer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=583EZB93ZRc

This a slightly retooled variation of my LEGO Super Nintendo Transformers set, which was altered to have some of its principal joints removed to make it non-transforming. This was done in September while I was editing raw footage for my demonstration video, since I did this for the sole purpose of submitting my concept to LEGO Ideas. And basically, I wanted to submit an entry of a solid, non-transforming game console much akin to the official NES set from 2020, as the transformation function would be too cumbersome for average consumers – not to mention licensing issues with Transformers, as they're property of Hasbo. Unfortunately, after making these changes to my MOCs and shooting these photos, I prepared an entry to LEGO Ideas but was instantly rejected due to licensing restrictions with Nintendo as an intellectual property.

With that said, I decided to still release these photos of the updated console/accessories, since the new aesthetic changes are more accurate to a real SNES. For example, the dummy game cartridge looks more like a real SNES cartridge than the transforming version I built, since I wasn't confined to the usage of certain joint pieces which made the creations look wonky. Another set of joints I removed was the ball and socket set on the front of the console by the controller ports, and thus I fixed the little red light on the front left.

Maybe LEGO Group will change their minds and allow me to submit this as a model; I'd love to share this as a retail set.

On a cloudy early May morning, Our Bus former Heyfordian of Bicester Optare Solo type YJ59 NNL "Paddy" is captured on Beach Road in Cromer as it works the above service 33 journey. Since 21st April 2019, when Sanders rerouted most of their services passing through Cromer, the bus stops on Beach Road, opposite and adjacent to the Morrisons Supermarket, have only been served by the Our Bus service 33 (NSSu) and Sanders services 16 (T); 17 (Th): 19 (MW) and 20 (F).

In the background, beyond the toilet block, we can see the QD Store which was previously home to the Reynolds Coaches of Overstrand fleet and subsequently passed to Eastons Coaches of Cawston when they acquired the Reynolds business in the late 1970s. Later it also became home to Sanders comparatively short lived Cromer depot.

The twelve former designated coach parking bays in the Cadogan Road Car Park behind Paddy are still marked out for cars and have yet to be restored to their pre-Covid layout. However, a small section of about five coach bays is cordoned off by a mixture of barriers, tapes and cones which coach drivers have to move before and after parking up. As a result it is virtually impossible to get any shots of visiting coaches without them being spoilt by at least one of these specified items. It wasn’t until this shot was taken that I realised the CCTV camera, which was situated next to the lamppost, has been removed from the corner of the car park.

Remove rewind crank (with back open, hold rewind fork steady with small screwdriver and unscrew RH thread crank). Remove shutter speed dial (unscrew RH thread screw with pin spanner).

Lift off shutter speed dial. (On/off switch may come off, or may remain attached to top cover in some versions.)

Deboxing Anna. She has been removed from the cardboard backing. The various wires and plastic supports attached to her have been removed. She standing, supported by the display stand. Closeup of the back of her head, where we see that some plastic T-tabs are still embedded in her head. They came loose from the plastic support behind her head. There are also two more T-tabs on the other side of her head, not shown here. I carefully snipped them off, and pressed the remaining stubs back into her head so they wouldn't show. Finally there is tissue paper stuffing wrapped around her legs, that was taped together. I was able to raise her skirt to be able to cut the tissue paper off. You can see the red satin lining to her skirt, and the single layer tulle petticoat. I then removed the display stand so I could inspect her.

Detailed photos of the Olaf's Frozen Adventure Anna Limited Edition Doll. I got her from my local Disney Store on release day, Tuesday December 12, 2017, along with Elsa. I was the only one waiting for the dolls before the store opened. She is #1234 of 7000, which I think is a really cool number.

I like her a lot more than I thought I would from the stock and leaked photos. I don't think she looks goofy, even with her smirk. But I do think that her in box pose is very awkward. The nicest thing I've discovered about the doll is that she has lavender tights, which compares nicely with the green tights of FF Anna.

I show her in box, and with all the covers removed. I will debox her later. I show her next to my deboxed Frozen Fever Anna doll, who I think is closest to her in design among the Anna LE dolls.

Two axles and a tiled ledge is all that holds this on.

The following stotra is from the narada purana, and is recited to remove all troubles and get liberation:

"PraNamya shirasaa devaM gaurii putraM vinaayakaM bhaktaa vaasaM smaren.h nityaM aayuH kaama artha siddhaye /

One should bow the head and offer obeisance before the son of Gauri, Vinayaka, whose abode is the devotees, and remember Him always for the purpose of obtaining longevity, desired powers and prosperity."

I saw this young lady aside of a procession for Lord Ganesha.

She was not with the other devotees anymore but dancing in circles among the many people who were following the procession.

As if she was possessed, she seemed to be away from everything, sometimes I could see pain on her face, sometimes she was almost fainting , two other ladies were taking care of her, allowing her to rest but she was never leaning the offers she was carrying on her head.

After a while I could see a kind of happiness on her face as if she managed to remove all troubles...
