Sentinel-2 L1C + 6 month average NDMI
Author: Monja Ĺ ebela
Contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data [2021], processed by Sentinel Hub
ℹ️ This multi-temporal script calculates the average NDMI for three sets of two consecutive months, returning each pair in its own color channel, so the image displays the moisture differences through a six month period. The script is based on Harel Dan's Agricultural Growth Stage script.

Global distribution of mangrove forests circa 2000. Grid cell values are 1 where there is mangrove and 0 where there is no mangrove. Data values are derived by digital image classification of Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) data acquired around the year 2000.
Haze from the forest fires blanket most parts of the landscape. The rainfall during the flight also contributed to the limited visibility.

Anthropogenic biomes datasets describe potential natural vegetation, biomes, as transformed by sustained by human population density and land use including agriculture and urbanization. Anthropogenic biome categories (Anthromes) are defined by population density and land-use intensity. The data consists of 19 anthrome classes in six broad categories.
