Compare the cab with the smashed cab in the previous series. This is after much cementing, filling, sanding and repainting! All of which, I am sure, will eventually be a waste of time after the next inevitable accident! I do have a couple of spare cabs now (and virtually every other mechanical spare part should I need it)!
In some of the pics you can see the tail still has a slight downward bend. I do have a complete replacement assembly which I will probably attached while I do a better repair on the original unit. If you think you can see tape across the canopy "glass", that's because you can. Two layers of clear parcel tape, in fact. This is to guard the canopy against cracking on those occasions when the balance bar strikes it - and that can occur either if you make too violent a control input; or you crash; or even when the onboard battery dies.
Clint playing with a huge universal remote (it's actually a gift my little sister got me last year but strangely enough, I never found a great use for a massive remote control other than as a gag gift).
cats are nice but sometimes annoying.. with this remote control you are able to conduct your cat. You can also choose between different functions like purring, scrounging, sleeping...
Felt like a while since I did a self-portrait. This is a new shirt from Old Navy that I think looks cute, but I gotta tell you--those ruffles catch my eye in my peripheral vision and it's as if there is SOME GIANT THING on my shoulders.
First shots from my new Canon G10. Testing out the macro focus on an old Sony remote control. A bit dusty!
Birthday present. Haven't put the batteries in it yet, but with options like "give me beer" and "give me food" this is one that I will take everywhere with me, even if pressing the "give me sex" or "remove clothes" buttons at the wrong time could provide injudicious.
Second of the 3 racing 'bugs' I plan to enter in the next Birch Bug Racing League. The what? You know those foam squeeze logo'd toys companies give out? Some of us at my company organize motorized foam toy races. This is one my March '08 entries. You can see our rules (as well as pix/video from previous events here: www.4xkn.com/birch_bugs/index.html
