Regalo de cumpleaños anticipado (mi cumple es mañana). ¡Me encanta!

Early birthday gift! (my b-day is tomorrow). I love it!
No, this is not Photoshop or Gimp - humans can't see the IR light emitting from a remote control, but camera sensors do.
Holding your remote in front of a DSLR with live view (all compact cameras should work too), allows you to check whether your remote works or not.

It can be bought directly from:

for 90 Euro plus postage. Postage to Australia for my kit was only $10 Euro and only took about a week to arrive.
Zenith "space command" remote control. Steve's dad worked for Zenith his whole career and the room where this command rests is filled with his awards and patents. He'd be so enthralled with the advances in HD television today.

Jumping upwards, it was difficult to get into a kind of lotus position, while pressing my remote control - a lot of things to do in a split second.
Our house has a name. Hraun. In english it would mean a lawa and actually there's a jail here in Iceland called Hraun but that's another story.
After four and a half year I'm finally set to leave the house. My fellow inmate, Fúsi Who's on the far left, white headed, was released on the same day as I and Halli, who's the guy in the middle, stayed in for only few months and live's now not so far away from the Hraun in a house called Steinsstaðir. Steinsstaðir is a very small house to see from the outside but inside, it's a huge hall. There has been many good party's there and it has also been used as a hotel when someone comes to visit us.
I'm sitting on the far right, pointing the gun finger at Halli who looks like a jolly burglar. I'm not going to miss the Hraun as the house that I'm living in right now is a good house or should I say gooder house? The gooder hose also has a name. It's called Sunnuhvoll II. Maybe the english word for that could be Sunny Hill two or something.
The photo was taken when we had the last meeting of many older meetings... Halli was actually ill but he visited us though.
Compare the cab with the smashed cab in the previous series. This is after much cementing, filling, sanding and repainting! All of which, I am sure, will eventually be a waste of time after the next inevitable accident! I do have a couple of spare cabs now (and virtually every other mechanical spare part should I need it)!
In some of the pics you can see the tail still has a slight downward bend. I do have a complete replacement assembly which I will probably attached while I do a better repair on the original unit. If you think you can see tape across the canopy "glass", that's because you can. Two layers of clear parcel tape, in fact. This is to guard the canopy against cracking on those occasions when the balance bar strikes it - and that can occur either if you make too violent a control input; or you crash; or even when the onboard battery dies.
That's what Jack said one day when he was really angry at me. He twirls my hair when he's tired, bored, nervous, near my head. It often drives me a little nuts, but he's done it since he was tiny. Someday, he won't twirl my hair anymore, and I'll miss it, I'm sure. But it will be okay to have my hair back too.
