my yoga instructor margaret asked if I could try to get a few shots of her teaching/assisting during class so that they could be used for dc yoga week promotions. in addition to walking around and grabbing handheld shots, I also set up the tripod, pulled out the remote, and tried to get a few shots with me in them.

 

this isn't a spectacular shot, but I'm uploading it anyway 'cause I'm amused by the concept..the remote is under my left fingers.

A pair of Remote Control high hood GP38-2 works a cut of cars at NS Andrews Yard for train E13, that departs later that evening. With NS changing all high hoods to slugs or admiral cabs, scenes like this will be a distant memory in the near future.
